(l, 01) W^(Z) + P1 (Z) Hf»-»(z) + '·· + p m -i(z) W 1 (Z) + Pm (z) w(z)eine ganze Funktion, in der Regel ganz transzendent, in Ausnahmefällen ein Polynom. Vorn Standpunkt der Wertverteilungslehre interessiert in erster Linie die Wachstumsordnung //i AON i r (l, 02) = hm mit M (r) = Max | w(z) |. Eine ganze transzendente Lösung w(z) von (l, 01) hat rationale M-r Wachstumsordnung und ist vom Normaltypus dieser Ordnung, d. h. der Grenzwert (Typus) (1.03) t r->oo 'ist endlich und von Null verschieden. In (l, 02) und (l, 03) kann hier einfach lim statt lim geschrieben werden, da die Differentialgleichung eine gewisse Regelmäßigkeit im Verhalten von w(z) zur Folge hat. Da also gilt (1.04) In Jlf (r) = fr* (l + e(r)) mit (r) -> 0 für r-> oo, wird durch die Zahlen und t das Anwachsen der ganzen transzendenten Lösungen charakterisiert. Die Werte, die dafür in Betracht kommen, lassen sich, wie gleich beschrieben wird, in einfacher Weise aus dem Verhalten der Polynome (l, 05) Pi (z) = a } z k i + · · · = , (l + 0 (-) j bei \z |->oo gewinnen; kj bezeichnet den Grad von Pl und a> den Koeffizienten der höchsten Potenz. Ferner wir eingeführt m (l, 06) * = Max kj ?*=! und (1,07) «/ = m -/ + * -*,.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
