This paper proposes an overview on the potential use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and M&S (Modeling and Simulation) to develop innovative solutions in a new emerging sector defined Legal Analytics. The analysis of previous and existing achievements respect to actual potential advances with special attention to new integrated solutions for Arbitration.
Presented study focuses on utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in order to support data integration, sales forecasting and process optimization in retail. In particular, use of Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Genetic Algorithms (GA) in order to support decision makers from sales departments has evaluated.
"In the present research project, the authors developed wearable and portable solutions capable to improve safety in production lines by taking advantages of availability of exhaustive and reliable data in modern industrial plants. Indeed, the synergy between Industry 4.0 and cutting edge devices, such as smartphones and headsets for Mixed Reality demonstrated to be potentially used to assist personnel on the shop floor, especially during critical and most dangerous operations. In this paper it is presented an ongoing project devoted to develop such support systems and to evaluate their efficiency in multiple industrial environments."
The paper introduces a new project devoted to develop a simulation-based solution for improving emergency planning and crisis management in critical infrastructures such as seaports and related terminal. The research aims to investigate the use of Artificial Intelligence and Simulation jointly with Extended Reality in this framework.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
