Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa di butuhkannya media pembelajaran pada materi perpindahan panas di sekolah dasar. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini R&D dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif berdasarkan beberapa literatur yang relevan. Pada pelaksanaan studi lapangan, sampel yang digunakan merupakan sampel jenuh, yang menjadi subjek dari penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas V SDN Arjowinangun, Kabupaten Pacitan yang berjumlah 33 siswa serta 1 orang guru kelas. Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan wawancara, guru tertarik dengan media pembelajaran yang bersifat praktik. Media ini dibutuhkan guna menunjang pembelajaran di kelas. Selain itu media ini akan menarik minat siswa. Sebanyak 90,9% siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami materi perpindahan panas di buku yang dibagikan oleh sekolah. Sedangkan 9,1% tetap dapat memahami pembelejaran melalui buku siswa dan LKS, dikarenakan dirumah ditunjang denagan fasilitas media internet. Sebanyak 96,9% membutuhkan media pembelajaran tentang materi perpindahan panas dengan media oven matahari. Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out how much learning media is needed on heat transfer materials in elementary school. The method used in this study R&D uses a descriptive approach based on some relevant literature. In the field study, the sample used was a saturated sample, the subject of this study was class V students of Arjowinangun Elementary School, Pacitan Regency which amounted to 33 students and 1 class teacher. The results of this study are based on interviews, teachers are interested in learning media that are practical. This media is needed to support learning in the classroom. In addition, this media will attract students. A total of 90.9% of students had difficulty understanding heat transfer materials in books shared by the school. While 9.1% can still understand the learning through student books and LKS, because at home supported by internet media facilities. A total of 96.9% needed learning media about heat transfer materials with solar oven media.
