BACKGROUND: The population of Indonesia continues to increase every year. Family planning is an effort to create a guaranteed or qualified family by regulating the number of children, birth spacing, and the age of delivered women, allowing pregnancy to occur to create a healthy and prosperous Indonesia. The total fertility rate (TFR) in 2017 was 2.4, but to create a qualified family and a balanced population, the TFR must be based on a decrease in 2020–2021. AIM: The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between ages, education, knowledge, work status, and support from husbands with injection contraceptive acceptors. METHOD: This study used the analytical observational cross-sectional design. The sampling technique was non-random purposive sampling, with a sample size of 96 people; a questionnaire was used to collect data and data were analyzed using the Chi-squared test with IBM SPSS Statistics 21. RESULTS: The percentage of respondents who were injection contraceptive acceptors was 57.3%. The results showed that the variables associated with injection visit compliance were age (p = 0.022), knowledge (p = 0.005), and work status (p = 0.017). Meanwhile, the variables not related to compliance with injection visits were education (p = 0.172), husband’s support (p = 0.833), number of children (p = 0.167), and house distance (p = 0.054). CONCLUSION: The factor that most influenced acceptors’ compliance with injection visits was knowledge of contraception.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) is still a significant problem; therefore, mental health issues and COVID-19 are starting to get attention because of the increasing psychological impact and mainly because of Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Further study is required on this issue. This paper aimed to determine the prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment of SUD during the COVID-19 pandemic. This literature review is gained from scientific articles with a range of publication years from 2016 to 2021 about SUD During the COVID-19 pandemic based on Prevalence, Diagnosis, and psychotherapy of the published journal using Pubmed, Google Scholar, and SAGE Journals, and then critically reviewed. The prevalence of SUD patients during the COVID-19 pandemic has increased; however, digital psychotherapy strategies for SUD patients have been found and proved effective during the pandemic. In conclusion, the COVID-19 pandemic impacts a person's mental and behavior and could be a high-risk opportunity for substance abuse. Therefore health workers must improve health services for SUD patients to receive the health access needed even in a pandemic. Keywords: Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder, COVID-19, Prevalence, Diagnosis, ManagementCorrespondence : dedydermawan555@gmail.com
The population of Indonesian continues to increase, while the total fertility rate is not yet on target. So that an effective family planning program is needed to reduce Indonesia's population growth. Injection contraceptive acceptor adherence is needed to maximize family planning programs for a better future. Objective: to analyze the relationship between age, education, knowledge, work status, and support from husbands of injection contraceptive acceptors in women of childbearing age to compliance with re-injection visits. The study was using an analytical observational, cross-sectional study design. The sampling technique was non-random sampling purposive sampling, a sample size of 96 people, a questionnaire was used to collect data and data analysis using the chi-square test. Results: The number of adherent injecting contraceptive acceptors was 57.3%. The results showed that the variables associated with injection visit compliance were age (p = 0.022), knowledge (p = 0.005), and work status (p = 0.017). Meanwhile, the variables not related to compliance with injection visits were education (p = 0.172), husband's support (p = 0.833) and the number of children (p=0.167). Conclusion: There is a relationship between age, knowledge, and work status on the compliance of injection contraceptive acceptor visits. Jumlah penduduk indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan total fertility rate belum sesuai target.
