Everybody has right to be educated, not excluded the diffable people. Unfortunately, they are large in number but small in access. The diffable get limited access including access of education especially in Islamic education institution. This article attempts to discuss some alternatives of model of education which accommodates the need of the diffable, namely, full inclusion and partial inclusion. Melakukan suatu usaha pembebasan terhadap pendidikan yang selama ini banya diwarnai dengan nilai-nilai yang menghegemoni kreativitas berfikir anak didik telah mengharuskan kita berusaha merubah sembari memberikan konsep baru tentang pendidikan yang sebenarnya. Memberikan sepenuhnya peluang kepada anak didik dalam rangka pengembangan kemampuannya sesuai dengan talent-nya, akan berimplikasi positif bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya secara alamiah (nature).
Alumni have a strategic role including improving the quality of education and developing various extracurricular activities in schools and alumni who have competence can play an important function in building public opinion to attract new students and public. This article discusses the role of alumni according to the Total Quality Management (TQM) perspective to find out related matters, namely the understanding and role of alumni, how the characteristics of integrated quality schools and how alumni management is according to the TQM perspective. The results of the analysis show the characteristics of quality schools have 5 quality pillars which include a focus on customers, total involvement, measurement, commitment and continuous improvement. The pillars are based on school beliefs. Alumni are able to make many contributions in improving the quality of education, therefore there is a need for alumni management. Alumni management includes the development of alumni networks, alumni construction of educational institutions, institutional governance of alumni management and methods for tracing alumni data through electronic and social media.Keywords: Alumni, educational institutions, schools, total quality management.
This study will examine the internalization of character values at the Tarbiyah Department of STAIN Ponorogo. It has been found out that STAIN Ponorogo, in particular the Tarbiyah Department, has made efforts to undertake character education to the students through three patterns: during the learning process, during process of academic administrative services, and during extracurricular and intraccurricular activities followed by students at STAIN Ponorogo. The characters to be internalized are honesty, discipline, religiousity, creativity, self-reliance, responsibility, tolerance, communication and responsibility.Keywords: character education, morality, internalization

Di samping itu pemerintah juga berkewajiban secara terus menerus melakukan berbagai upaya dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan rakyat. Apalagi bila merujuk kepada HDI pada tahun 2011 Indonesia berada di No.124 dari 187 Negara, sedangkan di Asia Pasifik, Indonesia berada di No.12 dari 21 Negara. 2 Ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas bangsa kita masih belum bisa sejajar untuk tidak mengatakan belum mampu bersaing dengan negara-negara lain. Character education is essentially an effort to develop the moral intelligence of students to behave noble (noble character). Thus forming efforts in the institutional character does not stop until the secondary level but it should be up to the college level. From the results of research studies conducted in STAIN Ponorogo in this case an institutional case study at Tarbiyah Department has made efforts to internalize the character education to student which are through three patterns: first, conducted in the learning process in the lecture; The second, conducted in the process of academic administrative services; The third, carried through extracurricular activities and student intracuricular followed by majors Tarbiyah STAIN Ponorogo. The character values are internalized are: honesty, discipline, religious, creative, self-reliance, responsibility, tolerance, communicative and responsibility. Pendidikan karakter secara esensial adalah sebuah upaya mengembangkan kecerdasan moral peserta didik agar mempunyai perilaku yang mulia (noble character). Dengan demikian upaya penanaman karakter secara kelembagaan tidak hanya berhenti hingga jenjang menengah namun seharusnya hingga jenjang perguruan tinggi. Dari hasil kajian penelitian yang dilakukan di STAIN Ponorogo dalam hal ini studi kasus pada Jurusan Tarbiyah- secara kelembagaan telah melakukan upaya internalisasi pendidikan karakter kepada mahasiswa dalam hal ini melalui tiga pola: pertama, dilakukan dalam proses pembelajaran di perkuliahan; kedua, dilakukan dalam proses pelayanan akademik administratif; ketiga, dilakukan melalui kegiatankegiatan ekstrakulikuler maupun intrakulikuler kemahasiswaan yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa jurusan Tarbiyah STAIN Ponorogo. Adapun nilai-nilai karakter yang diinternalisasikan adalah: kejujuran, kedisiplinan, religius, kreatif, kemandirian, tanggung jawab, toleransi, komunikatif dan tanggung jawab.
