Kata kunci: analisis bentuk dan struktur, komposisi musik, “Morning Happiness”, Gus Teja.ABSTRACTGus Teja World Music’s musical composition "Morning Happiness" (2008) was inspired when its composer Agus Teja Sentosa (Gus Teja) had been suddenly stunned to see his child smile after being recovered from illness in one morning. The sounds of happiness or the morning bliss was then poured into the instrumental musical composition which was put in his group’s first album "Rhytm of Paradise". The problem of this research is how the form and structure of the composition was. The research method used is qualitative. The theory used to solve the problem is the form and structure analysis theory of song. Primary data sources were obtained from interviews, observations, and discography (VCD). Secondary data were obtained from books, journals, and internet sources. The result of the research showed the musical instruments used in this composition, are flute, selokro, tingklik baro, guitar, bass, kendang angklung. In this composition, the flute plays an important role as the main melody of the song. The instruments are made from bamboos, and the flute used in this composition is a blend of Balinese flute with Indian and Bandung ones. From the musical aspects, there are rules such as the provisions of number of bars, sukat, progress chord in which rhythm patterns are played in accordance with what are usually determined. This composition uses the basic tone D = do, with an allegro tempo (120MM), and uses a ¾ and a three-part shaped A, B, C, C', started with an introduction. Keywords: form and structure analysis, musical composition, "Morning Happiness".
Humans are always trying to be healthy. When they are sick, they will seek and find medication and methods that are suitable for their physiological and psychological conditions. One of the unique medication and methods in the treatment process is to use music to intervene such psychophysiological conditions. Some studies used modulated high frequency (HFCs) in inducing participants (respondents)’ condition, and in fact obtaining good results. But the use of these objects in the previous studies is still a single sound chosen from the width of the music frequency range, not yet directed towards music. One type of music that is quite interesting is MIDI as the music is derived from sampling sound composition which turns out to have a fairly wide frequency region, one of which is the ultrasonic region as found in my musical project “Yogyakarta Nyaman”. Physically, in the medical world, ultrasonic sound frequencies are used in intervening physiological conditions. Based on the description above, the focus of this study is to use “Yogyakarta Nyaman” in the psychophysiological responses of the respondents. The method used is quantitative with 18 respondents divided into nine men and nine women. Data are collected from structured interviews where the results are converted into numbers to give a numerical description. The results of the study showed that “Yogyakarta Nyaman” was able to intervene in the physiological and psychological conditions of the respondents with fcount > ftable. The fcount value is 5.179 greater than ftable around 3.86. Manusia selalu berusaha sehat.

Province of Bali, Indonesia, is growing very rapidly as a tourist destination in recent decades. Currently five to six million foreign tourists visit it every year. On the other hand, Balinese pop music has also grown quite intense in the local communities, especially since the 1990s. Nevertheless, so far, there has not been a significant relationship between Balinese pop music, tourists, and the tourism businesses in this province. Balinese pop music has not been a special product of Bali tourism. This research was conducted to explore and criticize a number of factors that led to the lack of acceptance of the music as part of tourism industry. This literature study was conducted with a descriptive-qualitative approach. The results of the study show that the similarity of Balinese pop music genres to modern music in general is one of the factors. Taste of the tourists, the destinations chosen, lack of promotion, theme of the songs/music, composition, and language used in the lyrics cause the fact that Balinese pop music is less accepted by tourists, especially foreign tourists. It takes certain efforts from artists (musicians), music industry and tourism industries, and also governments to make certain concerted efforts if Balinese pop music wants to be accepted in a tourism business parallel to traditional music products which are already consumed by tourists.
