Palavras-chave: Síndrome de Down, cardiopatias congênitas, desenvolvimento infantil, habilidades motoras, desvios do desenvolvimento infantil.
The research field between spirituality and disease is increasingly evident, however, the relationship between spirituality/religiosity coping in post-stroke individuals has not been found in the literature. To correlate spiritual/religious coping and functional capacity in hemiparetics submitted to Group Physiotherapy in Circuit Format (GPCF). Cross-sectional study with 8 chronic hemiparetic patients in GPCF. At first, the initial evaluation was applied and after 8-weeks intervention, following CRE-brief and Timed Up and Go (TUG). There was no correlation between the CRE-brief questionnaire with TUG (r=-0.618 and p=0.102), but the effect size showed a large clinical effect (0.94). The GPCF did not promote improvement in functional capacity at the end of 8-weeks intervention and no significant correlation between CRE-brief and TUG. However, it was demonstrated positive effect in fighting of the disease and a great clinical effect among the applied evaluations.
The evaluation of parkinsonian satisfaction and its correlation with the balance are still not established, so it is fundamental to use instruments capable of measuring these aspects. The objective was to verify the satisfaction of Parkinsonians in Group Physiotherapy treatment in the Training Circuit Format (FGCT) and correlate with the balance. The initial evaluation was performed using the Berg Modified Scale (EMB) to evaluate the static and dynamic balance and after the intervention with FGCT, the second evaluation was added the Abbreviated Patient Satisfaction Assessment Scale (SATIS-BR), which analyzes the patients' perception about the aspects of the services received, consisting of quantitative and qualitative questions. Statistical analysis revealed no significant difference in BMS (p = 0.354) and showed a weak correlation between BMS x SATIS-BR (r = 0.057 and p = 0.875). The FGCT was able to maintain the clinical picture in the analyzed population.
RESUMO FUNCTIONAL EVALUATION OF CHRONIC HEMIPARKTHES SUBMITTED TO A TRAINING CIRCUIT IN A FAMILY HEALTH STRATEGY -CASE REPORT ABSTRACTObjective: The objective of the present study was to evaluate the functional mobility, gait, balance and manual dexterity of two chronic hemiparetic patients submitted to FGCT and the feasibility of this therapy in a FHS of Presidente Prudente-SP. Methods: A report of two cases with chronic hemiparetic individuals evaluated by Timed up and go (TUG), 10-Meter Walk Test (TV10M), Berg Balance Scale (BSE) and Nine Hole Peg Test (9HPT) At the time AV1 and AV2, after the intervention period of 5 sessions of FGCT. Results: Both hemiparetic individuals presented improvement in TUG, TV10M, BSE, and 9HPTO when compared to AV1 and AV2 moments. Conclusion: The present study demonstrated that FGCT is feasible and improved the functional mobility, gait, balance and manual dexterity of two chronic hemiparetic in attendance at an FHS of Presidente Prudente-SP.
A avaliação inicial (AV1) foi realizada utilizando o Time up and go (TUG) e o Teste de velocidade de marcha de 10 metros (TV10M). As a result of stroke, impairments such as hemiparesis, gait deficits, impaired motor function and physical deconditioning can occur. In which, gait is one of the most important functional limitations and this way the evaluation becomes important to determine the functional profile and consequently to develop an appropriate treatment. The objective of this study was to evaluate and correlate functional capacity with the level of motor and functional impairment in chronic hemiparetic. This is a cross-sectional study using the Six-Minute Walking Test (6MWT) to assess functional capacity and the Fugl Meyer Protocol (FM) to assess the level of motor and functional impairment. Twelve hemiparetic subjects were included. Statistical analysis revealed no significant correlation between the 6MWT and FM. We conclude that the present study revealed a non-correlation between functional capacity and motor impairment in chronic hemiparetic.
