The presented paper deals with a comprehensive interpretation of the term neuromarketing, as a discipline that applies neuroscientific methods to analyze and to understand human behavior in relation to markets and market exchanges. Due to the topic, this paper presents mainly secondary data, next the questionnaire is used. We state that neuromarketing is a discipline that applies neuroscientific methods to analyze and to understand human behavior in relation to the markets and market exchanges. Each of the neuromarketing techniques measures different data and suits different purposes, with a combination of the most reliable results. The interest in the theoretical research of neuromarketing focuses on the consumer decision-making process. One of the main benefits of neuromarketing is the potential to measure accurate, objective data that can be used to make informed decisions in management practice. However, it is currently only a complement to other areas of marketing and will be beneficial if it is used to obtain otherwise inaccessible data. We are convinced that the existence of the Neuromarketing Center in the ITI of the Olomouc agglomeration will be a significant contribution to the development of the neuromarketing theory. Coping with demanding situations is a part of managerial work at different levels and in different contexts. In the presented paper, based on the theoretical and methodological analysis of knowledge in the field of coping and special coping with demanding situations in project manager work, we present the results and knowledge related to the possibility of researching and identifying procedures for coping with demanding situations in project management. Attention is focused on the identification of ways of coping with demanding situations in project manager work through the BSMW Questionnaire - Behaviour Strategies in Managerial Work as a tool for identifying these procedures. We present findings related to the analysis of the assessment of strategies for managing demanding situations in project manager work in Slovak automotive industry in the context of selected personality, socio-demographic characteristics of managers and situational conditions. The acquired results verified the meaningfulness of the empirical-inductive principle of detecting the ways of coping with the examined demanding situations and determining the taxonomy of these principles with the specification of five factors – emotional factor of coping, cognitive factor of coping I, cognitive factor of coping II, behavioural factor of coping I and behavioural factor of coping II. From the methodological viewpoint our results contribute to the discussion about the interactional approach in research in social sciences and about the question of dispositional or situational conception of methods of researching in this area of knowledge. There are several variants and various modifications of forms of work outside the office. Some companies use, enable or even prefer working from home in the form of a home office. In practice, we often encounter different views on this form of work, both in terms of positive benefits and negatives and risks. In practice, there is probably no uniform view of this issue, both on the part of employers and management and employees. Working from home in the form of a home office shows certain specifics and places specific and different demands on both employees and employers compared to "traditional" work in the office or in another place designated by the employer to perform work. The problem may be not only the decision itself whether to allow and whether to use work from home for employees, but also the decision on which job positions and with what job description are suitable for the mentioned form of work performance. The place of work most likely has a significant effect on the motivation of employees and management. The question is whether and under what conditions positive motivation prevails, or negative motivation, i.e. demotivation. In the presented work, we focus on the advantages and disadvantages, i.e. the risks of the mentioned type of work, especially in the area of employee motivation. In this paper we summarize the development and current theoretical information on this issue and then compare it with current practice. In the following practical part, we will examine the perception of differences in employees, between working in the office and home office, focusing on the mentioned area of motivation. Keywords: Demotivation, Home Office, Leadership, Management, Motivation.
Understanding of the project life cycle is one of the key areas of project manager knowledge. The primary reasons are the different requirements of project management in individual phases of the project reflected in the expectations of stakeholders, in project settings in within the activities scheduling, in subsequent execution of activities and in related involvement and workload of project team members, in cost management and time schedule. A frequent problem is therefore that the project itself is often perceived only through its implementation phase and omits the period and activities before and after outputs completion, which also have their specificities requiring attention and management. In addition to different perceptions of the project life cycle, the question is also its standardization in terms of breakdown into phases with more precise description of their content. Each methodology has its own view and rationale for the breakdown, and from the point of view of the bestknown standards and norms we encounter a breakdown from three to six phases. It is important to add that it is not possible to apply individual methodologies across all types of implemented projects, which increases the importance of the role of the project manager in the whole process. He should understand and correctly apply appropriate project management methods in conjunction with the expected inputs and outputs for the relevant project phase. Requirements for inputs and outputs are identically included in standards and norms differently -from basic recommendations to comprehensive definitions of the content of prepared documents and applied procedures. One of the possible criteria for the classification of educational projects is the type of financing. This is an important determinant of the assumption of life cycle deviations for projects financed by the EU Structural Funds, projects financed by private sources and otherwise financed projects. The essential of this paper is to evaluate the life cycle of educational projects financed by the European Union Structural Funds and to propose recommendations primarily aimed at improving project management from the perspective of the contractors entering the projects. The essential will be developed through the following sub -objectives: To identify (from the perspective of the contractor) the life cycle specificities in educational projects financed by the European Union Structural Funds. To identify (from the perspective of the contractor) the life cycle specificities in educational projects financed by the European Union Structural Funds against the chosen methodological basis. To propose recommendations for improving the project management of contractors entering educational projects based on identified similarities and deviations. In the theoretical part of the paper we will use the content-causal analysis, in which we will concentrate on literary resources dealing with the issues of project life cycle. In the analytical part we pay attention to the identification of the life cycle...
