Modern organizations are challenged to permanently be prepared for changes. The competitive advantage can be reached only when organizations are aware what resources are the most essential for the proper functioning. This situation is linked also to the modern education which nowadays have to be more market oriented. Such approach requires greater involvement and allows faster development, thanks to competitiveness which naturally stimulates activity. The main goal of the article is to present new approaches of modern teaching in context of KM. The first part presents roots of KM and it's definition. The second part is connected with challenges of modern education. The last section describes KM tools used as an aspects of present education.
Nowadays Internet technologies are becoming more capable of supporting traditional ways of teaching. Education portals in particular offer lessons in various domains as supportive means for experienced tutors to deliver knowledge to students. The aim of this study is to present the solutions offered by various educational centres and to analyse supportive methods of teaching. The paper presents. A discussion about the approaches to the formulation of a list of teaching methods supporting traditional lessons. The next part is devoted to an overview of selected educational portals offering courses in the business informatics area. Then the paper concerns the comparison of the applied methods of teaching which support classic lessons. The utility of particular methods in teaching selected courses is demonstrated and evaluated according to the defined survey assumptions. Finally, suggestions concerning the hybridisation of various supporting teaching methods are proposed.

So it was this time, that the pandemic of covid-19 revealed how much education systems are not enough adapted to the technologically changing world. The main goal of the article is to present a general overview of the process of digitalization in the higher education field. The introduction part highlights the importance of today9s education. The second part of the article describes the characteristic of digitalization in the context of education. The third section indicates the potential and risks of digitalization. The next part of the article points out the use of digitalization in the didactic process.
