SummaryIn the present modern age, a robot works like human and is controlled in such a manner that its movements should not create hindrance in human activities. This characteristic involves gesture feat and gesture recognition. This article is aimed to describe the developments in algorithms devised for obstacle avoidance in robot navigation which can open a new horizon for advancement in businesses. For this purpose, our study is focused on gesture recognition to mean socio-technological implication. Literature review on this issue reveals that movement of robots can be made efficient by introducing gesture-based collision avoidance techniques. Experimental results illustrated a high level of robustness and usability of the Gesture recognition (GR) system. The overall error rate is almost 10%. In our subjective judgment, we assume that GR system is very well-suited to instruct a mobile service robot to change its path on the instruction of human.
Health is affected by the financial, environmental and work conditions. In this paper, we have proposed an algorithm to be used in a game so that it could behave intelligently for stress relieving and health care rather than in a traditional leisure. Our study explores the efficacy of intelligent games to keep the interest of a user in computer usage that helps in the reduction of stress. The games keep track of a user's actions and decide intelligently which best next level should be provoked to the user for keeping his/her interest in the game. In several experiments it has been observed that after playing stress relief game, users become less distracted by rejection, help releasing their stress and anxiety.
In many countries of the world, technology plays a leading role in the transformation of businesses. This study adopts a survey of literature in agriculture sector and gives certain recommendations which are evolved after descriptive analysis of literature. After systematic review of literature in Chinese, Pakistani and Nigerian context, our paper describes that agricultural policy and agricultural funding are connected to many problems in agriculture field and needs social and strategic steps to be taken particularly in Nigeria. The way observed by the study includes increased budgetary allocation for agriculture, adding a line of technological development, and expansion to social responsiveness in Agricultural Motor Mechanics and Tractors Operators Training Centres (AMMOTRAC). Our study has theoretical implications in social, technology and business research and has practical implication regarding liaison and funding cooperation among the Research and Development (R&D) Agencies.
In this paper, we have proposed to the mobile scientists about a social responsibility to take care about the health of the users by designing a computer-based mobile game so that it could behave intelligently and interactively for stress relieving and health care rather than the traditional leisure. Our study explores the efficacy of intelligent games to keep the interest of a user in computer and mobile usage that helps in the reduction of stress. This review paper highlights the need of social responsibility during the process of App development for mobile phone users.
