Physical fitness is an important physical component and must be possessed by Sports Education students, because most of the courses offered are practical courses. One of the basic physical fitness that must be possessed is cardiorespiratory endurance. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of basic physical fitness of cardiorespiratory endurance students of the FKIP UMS sports education study program batch 2021. To determine the level of a person's cardiorespiratory endurance can be done by measuring maximum oxygen (VO2max) by means of tests and measurements of running MFT (Multistage Fitness Test). This type of research is quantitative descriptive research which is stated in the form of a percentage. The population of this study used all active students of the FKIP UMS Sports Education Study Program batch 2021 totaling 120 students consisting of 105 boys and 15 girls. The results showed that from 120 sports education students there were 10 people or 8% physical fitness level in the very poor category, 17 people or 14% physical fitness level in the less category, 21 people or 18% physical fitness level in the moderate category, 56 people or 47% at the low level. physical fitness is in good category, and there are 16 people or 13% of sports education students who have a physical fitness level in the very good category. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that the level of basic physical fitness (cardiorespiratory endurance) of the 2021 FKIP UMS sports education students was good. There are 72 people or 60% of the total 120 students are in the good and very good category.
This study discusses swimming motivation in terms of age in Surakarta. The goal to be achieved is to determine the amount of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of someone who does swimming in a swimming pool in the Solo area. This research is a descriptive study with one variable, namely: motivation, the population used are visitors to the Tirtomoyo Manahan swimming pool. Sampling using incidental sampling technique, namely the technique of determining the sample based on chance, that is, anyone who incidentally meets the researcher. The number of samples in this study were 84 people. The instrument used to collect data uses a psychological scale, to analyze the collected document, the researcher uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.The results showed that a person has intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in doing swimming. The motivation varies according to the age of each sample. Intrinsic factors in the age category of children (5 years-11 years) because they want to play and are happy with water games, in the adolescent age category (12 years-25 years) as a lifestyle and add friends and fill spare time, in the adult category (26 years-45 years) as a supporter of a healthy lifestyle and improve health status, while in the elderly category (46 years - 65 years) as one of the sports for health therapy, namely asthma therapy and bone health. The extrinsic factor of the resource persons, on average, chose a swimming pool, namely because the Tirtomoyo swimming pool is in the middle of the city and has complete facilities and a clean pool environment.
The research used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research. This research uses survey model. the research is conducted on only one target (one location or one subject) for example, although research is conducted in several locations (multiple groups or a number of individuals). That is with the stages of observation, interview, documentation, data analysis. In this case study, the study used purposive sampling and snowball sampling techniques. For the determination of the research sample is done by purposive because it is known characteristics. The results of the research analysis showed that: 1. The development of aerobic gymnastics in Surakarta developed well with the container that shaded in aerobic gymnastics that is FORMI, and already many types of aerobic exercises that are taught among others zumba, BL, poco-poco etc. 2. Community participation in aerobic gymnastics is so supported by the community, one of them aerobic exercise is an alternative exercise that can be done to keep improving healthy life, because aerobic exercise is very easy to find everywhere. 3. The role of government in developing aerobic gymnastics is to provide broad access for public aerobic aerobics activities in public open spaces, as well as CFD events and government cooperation with private parties in terms of gymnastics competitions and aerobic gymnastics activities to always develop aerobic exercises .Keywords: Aerobic aerobics, development, government role
