About the contributorsAuthor Karen van Godtsenhoven, MA studied English Studies, Comparative Literature and Library and Information Sciences. She started working on digital copyright projects for Ghent University Library in 2006, and then became Project Manager for Ghent for DRIVER I and II. Within DRIVER, she is responsible for usability assessment, national networks and advocacy activities. She co-wrote the Interoperability chapter and edited the Technology Watch report in the context of the 'Discovery' work package. She is also editor of the Driver's Guide to European repositories' in DRIVER I. http://dare.uva.nl/aup/nl/record/260224Magchiel Bijsterbosch is Project Coordinator in the SURFshare programme and is responsible for the programme architecture. In DRIVER he has participated in studies on Enhanced Publications object models, interoperability and open standards. In the LOREnet project, Magchiel plays a key role in implementing a national infrastructure for open educational resources. He participates in ongoing studies on impact and requirements for a new national CRIS in The Netherlands. Mikael Karstensen Elbaek, MLIS holds the position of SystemsLibrarian and Project Manager of several national and international projects such as the Danish National Research Database, the Danish participation in EU DRIVER II, and the Knowledge Exchange project on Interoperability of OA Repositories and Current Research Information Systems. In addition, he is the chairman of the Danish OA Network, a joint national effort of DEFF and the universities to promote selfarchiving, institutional repositories and OA publishing.Patrick Hochstenbach is Digital Architect at the Ghent University Library. He played a major role in the development of the SFX linking server and cooperated in international standardisation efforts (OpenURL,.
