One of the most eloquent fragments of Aristophanes, fr. 581, from the comedy Seasons, presents a dialogue, possibly between two gods, in wich the advantages and disadvantages of the cycle of seasons for the polis are discussed. This paper aims to comment the fragment focused on the relation between the disruption of the natural order and the cult of foreign deities in Athens.
