Resumo Objetivo: Relatar a experiência de uma acadêmica de enfermagem frente às dificuldades enfrentadas pela equipe da CIHDOTT/OPO durante a comunicação entre o enfermeiro e a família no processo de doação de órgãos e tecidos para transplantes. Metodologia: Trata – se de um estudo descritivo, exploratório do tipo relato de experiência em um Hospital e Pronto – Socorro localizado na zona Leste da cidade de Manaus – Amazonas. Resultados: A comunicação representa o elemento primordial para a interação do enfermeiro com a família, oque proporciona a conscientização sobre a importância da doação. No entanto, diversos fatores contribuem de forma negativa para isso, como a falta de conhecimento de alguns profissionais de saúde do hospital e da sociedade sobre a temática. Conclusão: Evidenciou – se a necessidade de uma maior abordagem sobre Morte Encefálica e das etapas do processo de doação de órgãos na graduação, além de cursos de capacitação sobre a comunicação com os profissionais e das más noticias aos familiares.
Introdução: As aulas práticas em urgência e emergência relata a importância na formação do acadêmico dentro do ambiente universitário. Objetivo: Relatar experiências vivenciadas por alunos, compreendendo manobras em urgência e emergências. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, exploratório do tipo relato de experiência. Estudo foi desenvolvido por acadêmicos, visando conteúdos práticos e científicos, abordado a teoria da autonomia da pedagogia de Paulo Freire, onde enfatiza a ética e o ensino-aprendizado na aplicação da prática elaboradas e teóricas. Resultado e discussão: O relato de experiência em urgência e emergência visa à importância na capacitação do futuro profissional em enfermagem mostrando estratégias de ensino-aprendizado buscou habilidades em atividades, realização de intervenções e contribuições para os alunos e sua autoconfiança em simuladores, demonstrando grande ênfase nos protocolos ensinados e compreendido como exemplo ACLS e protocolo de Manchester que são utilizados. Conclusão: A urgência e emergência é a porta de entrada dos grandes hospitais e prontos socorros, logo se torna o que mais chama a atenção de grande parte dos alunos, com isso procurou-se dar enfoque nas práticas em urgência e emergência em que os alunos universitários participaram. Colocando em ênfase a teoria da pedagogia da autonomia, de Paulo Freire, onde ambas as partes aprendem e ensinam.
Objetivo: analisar a distribuição espacial das taxas de incidência de hepatite C no estado do Amazonas, no período de 2008 a 2018. Método: estudo ecológico e transversal com dados provindos do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação concedidos pela Fundação de Vigilância em Saúde do estado do Amazonas. Foram feitos os cálculos das taxas de incidência bruta, empírica bayesiana, incidência suavizada, índice de Moran Global e Local. Resultados: foram notificados 3.275 casos, a maioria foram diagnosticados de forma laboratorial 3.251 (99,2%), forma crônica 2.800 (85,5%), sexo masculino 1.683 (51,4%), zona urbana 2.943 (89,9%), faixa etária 40-50 anos 1.608 (69,6%), pardos 2.696 (82,3%), ensino fundamental incompleto 464 (14,2%), provável fonte de infeção sexual 181 (5,5%) e baixo preenchimento dos campos essenciais. O índice de moran global deu positivo e significativo (p≤0,05) em todos os anos estudados. Conclusão: a hepatite C ainda é muito frequente no Amazonas e afeta mais jovens e adultos de baixa escolaridade. Sua incidência se distribuiu espacialmente de forma não aleatória e significativa, apresentando clusters espaciais de incidência preocupante entre os municípios de Manaus e seus arredores.
