A series of one dimensional heteropolymolybdates, [Ln(H 2 O)n] 2 [TeMo 6 O 24 ]·6H 2 O [n = 6 or 7; Ln = La (1), Ce (2), Pr (3), and Sm (4)] have been synthesized and characterized by the inductively coupled plasma (ICP) atomic emission spectra, infrared spectra, far-infrared spectra, thermal analyses, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds crystallize in the triclinic system, space group P 1 . The X-ray structure analysis reveals that the compounds contain Anderson-Evans type anion.
A novel organic-inorganic hybrid tungstotellurate Na 2 [Co(C 12-H 8 N 2 ) 3 ] 2 [TeW 6 O 24 ] . 25 . 16H 2 O has been synthesized and characterized by the elemental analyses, infrared spectra, thermal analyses, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2 (1)/n with a 5 9.903(2) Å , b 5 23.761(7) Å , c 5 21.092(5) Å , a 5 908 8 8 8 8, b 5 91.38(2)8 8 8 8 8, g 5 908 8 8 8 8, V 5 4962(2) Å 3 , Z 5 2, and R 1 5 0.0364. The X-ray structure analysis reveals that the compound contains an Anderson-Evans type anion. Furthermore, the three-dimensional supramolecular architectures of the compound is formed by p-p stacking interactions of the phenanthroline groups between adjacent layer and the hydrogen-bonding interactions, respectively.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
