Summary
This article presents a new multilevel inverter topology with reduced power switches. The proposed topology composes of several series connection of basic unit for obtaining a required output voltage level. The proposed topology can operate in symmetric condition. The proposed topology is connected in a cascaded structure to produce a higher number of output voltage levels. The proposed cascaded structure is optimized with the minimum number of components for the maximum number of levels. To prove the superiority of the proposed multilevel inverter topology, different technical parameter comparisons are carried out with recently developed multilevel inverter topologies from the literature. The calculation of total standing voltage is examined for the proposed topology. The operation of the proposed topology is tested and verified for nine‐level output voltage. The simulated results are carried out, and it is strengthened by the real‐time prototype results.
Metastases from pancreatic malignancy are commonly known to occur in the regional lymph nodes, liver, lung, and peritoneum. Synchronous or metachronous metastasis from the pancreas to the colon is rare, with only 6 cases reported in the literature. We report a man who was found to have adenocarcinoma on biopsies from synchronous lesions in the colon and the pancreas. The immunohistochemistry report revealed the diagnosis of a primary pancreatic malignancy with synchronous colonic metastases.
In the last decade, there have been extensive reports of world health organization (WHO) on breast cancer. About 2.1 million women are affected every year and it is the second most leading cause of cancer death in women. Initial detection and diagnosis of cancer appreciably increase the chance of saving lives and reduce treatment costs. In this paper, we perform a survey of the techniques utilized in breast cancer detection and diagnosis in image processing, machine learning (ML), and deep learning (DL). We also proposed a novel computer-vision based cost-effective method for breast cancer detection and diagnosis. Along with the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, our proposed method is capable of finding the exact position of the abnormality present in the breast that will help in breast-conserving surgery or partial mastectomy. The proposed method is the simplest and cost-effective approach that has produced highly accurate and useful outcomes when compared with the existing approach.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
