I 2 500 550 600 m I [mpl Abb. 7.
Organic compounds incubuted with tritiated water of specific activity 5 Cilml are specifically Ji-agmented. The J-active fragments can be detected in very small quantities by chrcmatographic separation. Chemical identification of these fragments provides information about the original compounds, as has been shown by experiments with amino acids, esters, lactones, amides, quinones, terpenes, nitrogen-sulfur heterocycles, and natirrul products.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
