This paper considers the cell loss ratio and cell delay variation of a DQDB network, receiving trafic from a number of A T M connections. Every connection carries either connection oriented or connectionless traffic. In the analysis of the access t o the bus, we realize that consecutive service times of the local access queue are correlated. We present two models, of which one is including the correlation. Finally we illustrate the correlation effect and evaluate the models b y a number of simulation cases.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
