Producto de investigación, cuyo propósito es el reconocimiento de la arquitectura sagrada de la Catedral de San José, relaciona los sucesos históricos con los factores asociados a las decisiones de tipo arquitectónico que se adoptaron en este lugar a principios del siglo XX. En la metodología intervienen el imaginario urbano, los estudios descriptivos y documentales, para reflexionar sobre la memoria histórica de la Catedral y su entorno. Se pudo deducir que la tipología, además de expresar su esencia fenomenológica destinada para la celebración litúrgica, constituye una expresión de edificio cosmopolita, en su geolocalización y al proponer con su morfología, un elemento reconocido colectivamente como sagrado, que fortalece la consagración del espacio urbano de la ciudad de San Jose de Cúcuta.
The research aims to analyse the process of coverage of the railway network from England to San José de Cúcuta - Colombia, its impact as a transport system in the urban configuration. The research follows a qualitative approach from documentary analysis, which explores the historical particularities that make this process a significant event in the history of Colombia and the city of Cúcuta and quantitative by analysing mathematical models in productivity. It is concluded that the railway allowed the commercial exchange and development of the region, achieving its highest productivity in the thirties, and initiates a potential decline in the forties.
El objetivo de la investigación es analizar la habitabilidad de la catedral de San José de Cúcuta. El diseño metodológico plantea un enfoque de tipo descriptivo, bajo la concepción de Careri quien propone la construcción física del espacio arquitectónico a partir de los recorridos. La implementación del diagrama de Voronoi como herramienta elegida a través de su representación en el plano euclídeo, permitió el estudio con una serie de experimentos digitales y físicos, los cuales plantearon un cuestionamiento directo del espacio arquitectónico, representadas tridimensionalmente sus relaciones de proximidad, las fronteras entre varios objetos, y la caracterización de las diferentes zonas de la catedral en la comprensión de los modos de habitar, recorrer, observar las secuencias narrativas, para la consolidación de polígonos que constituyen el espacio sagrado.
Este artículo desarrollado como parte de los resultados de investigación sobre la apropiación del espacio público de la Avenida Cero de San José de Cúcuta en tiempos del Covid–19, busca estudiar cuantitativa y cualitativamente acerca del perfil de los vendedores informales que se ubican en esta zona indagando sobre la situación psicoafectiva y las estrategias de usufructuó económico para sobrellevar la crisis económica ocasionada por la pandemia. En él se alcanza a identificar la alta participación de la mujer en la actividad informal y las condiciones de inestabilidad económica e incertidumbre psicoafectiva en la apropiación del espacio público de esta ciudad fronteriza.
