The study was conducted to determine the profile of the written argumentation skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri Sukabumi Regency. The method in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The subjects were class XI students of SMA Negeri Sukabumi with a total of 36 students, who had followed the motion system material. The instrument used was in the form of problem descriptions to measure students' argumentation skills with 10 questions that referred to the Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP) argumentation skill indicators. The results showed that students' written argumentation skills were still at level 1-2, students at that level could only include claims, data, warrant and backing indicators in their answers. Whereas the refutational indicators (rebuttal) students have not been able to provide answers using refutation or reinforcement, so that the quality of student argumentation in Sukabumi District High School is still low and needs to be trained so that students' written argumentation skills can develop. Abstrak. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan argumentasi tertulis siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sukabumi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sukabumi dengan jumlah 36 siswa, yang telah mengikuti materi sistem gerak. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal uraian untuk mengukur keterampilan argumentasi siswa dengan jumlah 10 soal yang mengacu pada indikator keterampilan argumentasi Toulmin Argumentation Pattern (TAP). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan argmentasi tertulis siswa masih berada di level 1-2, siswa pada level tersebut hanya bisa menyertakan indikator klaim (claim), data (data), jaminan (warrant) dan dukungan (backing) dalam jawabannya. Sedangkan pada indikator sanggahan (rebuttal) siswa belum bisa memberikan jawaban dengan menggunakan sanggahan maupun penguatan, sehingga kualitas argumentasi siswa di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Sukabumi masih rendah dan perlu untuk dilatihkan agar keterampilan argumentasi tertulis siswa dapat berkembang. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Socioscientific Issues learning approach to improving students' creative thinking ability. Learning with the Socioscintific Issues approach needs to be trained because it not only develops creative thinking skills, but also other abilities can be developed such as critical thinking skills, decision-making and arguing ability. The research method that will be used is quasi experiment with Design Nonequivalent Control Group. This research was conducted at State Junior High School 6 Sukabumi with research population that is class VII (Seven). The sampling technique used is Purposing Sampling. Indicators of creative thinking that is sensitivity, thinking smoothly, thinking flexible, original thinking and thinking detailing. The results showed that the average value of N-gain of the experimental class was 0.56 higher than the control class of 0.44. The results of the z test show that the data produced in accordance with the criteria is zhitung = 3.177> ztabel = 1.998 with a trust level of 0.05 (5%), meaning H0 is rejected and H1 accepted, it means that the Socioscientific Issues learning approach influences the creative thinking ability of learners water pollution material. The response of learners to the learning approach Socioscientific Issue gave a positive response on the approach of learning approaches Socioscientific Issues.Keywords: Creative Thinking, Socioscientific Issues.
This study aims to determine the profile of students’ creativity and innovation skills carried out in MAN 2 Sukabumi in April in the second week of 2021. This research was conducted using descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The sample used in this study used 2 class XI in MAN 2 Sukabumi, totaling 70 students who has been determined by simple random sampling. The instrument used was the Tiktok video assessment rubric which was developed from Frika (2016). The research data were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that 2 class XI in MAN 2 Sukabumi City. In comparison, gender had no show differences on students’ creative thinking skills. Creativity and innovation skills based on the video made by class XI IPA A, almost all groups get a score of 80 in the “very creative” category. Class XI IPA C, there are 5 groups scored above 80 categorizes “very creative” and 2 groups scored above 70 categorized “creative”. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan kreativitas dan inovasi peserta didik yang dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi pada bulan April di minggu kedua tahun 2021. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan 2 kelas XI di MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi berjumlah 70 peserta didik yang sudah ditentukan secara simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu rubrik penilaian video Tiktok yang dikembangkan dari Frika (2016). Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian didapat bahwa 2 kelas XI di MAN 2 Kota Sukabumi, pada perolehan perbandingan gender tidak menunjukkan perbedaan pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik. Keterampilan kreativitas dan inovasi berdasarkan video yang dibuat. Memiliki hasil bahwa pada kelas XI IPA A, hampir seluruh kelompok mendapatkan nilai 80 dikategorikan “sangat kreatif”. Kelas XI IPA C, terdapat 5 kelompok mendapat nilai di atas 80 dikategorikan “sangat kreatif” dan 2 kelompok mendapat nilai di atas 70 dikategorikan “kreatif”.
Pengolahan kopi masyarakat di Piro Coffea umumnya masih menggunakan teknologi tradisional yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas rasa, sehingga berdampak pada nilai ekonomi produk kopi tersebut. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan teknologi pengolahan kopi sehingga dapat menghasilkan produk berkualitas. Kopi merupakan salah satu produk yang banyak dikonsumsi masyarakat. Pengolahan kopi masyarakat di Piro Coffea umumnya masih menggunakan teknologi tradisional yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas rasa, sehingga berdampak pada nilai ekonomi produk kopi tersebut. Program Pengabdian ini berlangsung selama 5 bulan, melibatkan 2 orang dosen pelaksana, dan 3 orang mahasiswa sebagai pelaksana, serta mitra yang terdiri dari 5 orang dari pihak Piro Coffea. Pengabdian dimulai dari persiapan sampai evaluasi keberhasilan proses pendampingan yang dilakukan. Pengabdian ini dibagi menjadi 3 tahap, antara lain tahap observasi awal, implementasi program dan tahap evaluasi efektifivitas program. Akhir program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas kopi yang dihasilkan, kopi yang dihasilanya memiliki nilai kualitas 91% yang diukur dari rasa, aroma dan warna. Hal ini sesuai juga dengan capaian indikator kegiatan pelatihan yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan teknik pengolahan pasca panen kopi pada mitra Piro Coffea. Post-harvest assistance for coffee using carbonic maceration fermentation at Mitra Piro Coffea, Sukabumi Regency The coffee processing community at Piro Coffea generally still uses traditional technology which affects the quality of taste, so it has an impact on the economic value of the coffee product. The implementation of this service aims to improve coffee processing technology so that it can produce quality products. Coffee is one of the products that are consumed by many people. This Service Program lasted for 5 months, involving 2 implementing lecturers, and 3 students as implementers, as well as partners consisting of 5 people from Piro Coffea. Service begins from preparation to the evaluation of the success of the mentoring process carried out. This service is divided into 3 stages, including the initial observation stage, program implementation, and program effectiveness evaluation stage. The end of the program shows an increase in the quality of the coffee produced, the coffee it produces has a quality value of 91% as measured by taste, aroma, and color. This is also consistent with the achievement of indicators for training activities which show an increase in understanding and techniques of post-harvest coffee processing among Piro Coffea partners
Background: This study aims to determine the effect of the blended learning model on the creative thinking ability of high school students on biotechnology materials at SMA N 1 Sukaraja, Sukabumi Regency. Methods: The method used in this study is a quasi-experimenal research design, namely the Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used was an uraian test with 8 questions integrated with 5 indicators of creative thinking ability (Fluency, Flexibility, problem sensitivity, Originality, and Elaboration). Results: In testing the hypothesis using the independent sig (2-tailed) test is 0.00 < 0.05, then Ho is rejected. So use of the blended learning model on the creative thinking abilities help in the learning process to improve creative thinking in the learning process in the classroom. Conclusion: It can be concluded that there is an effect on the use of the blended learning model on the creative thinking abilities of class XII students on biotechnology materials at SMA Negeri 1 Sukaraja.
