Este artigo apresenta o processo de criação de um projeto de sinalização para as áreas internas de circulação do Museu Câmara Cascudo da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. O projeto contempla os parâmetros do Design Universal e permite acessibilidade comunicacional para o visitante com deficiência visual. Dessa maneira, esta pesquisa objetiva tecer reflexões sobre a sinalização inclusiva a partir do processo descrito, pautada na revisão de literatura e nas normas vigentes no Brasil. O método proposto para o projeto é baseado em estudos de D’Agostini (2017) e Calori e Vanden-Eynden (2015) e é dividido nas etapas: planejamento, projeto, experimentação e documentação. Ao final do projeto, obteve-se como resultado a criação de um sistema de placas, um mapa tátil, uma proposta de implantação de piso tátil, sinalização complementar para escadas e um manual de uso da sinalização. Assim, espera-se que este artigo contribua com a divulgação de projetos com semelhantes especificidades.
