La pandemia dejo la virtualidad como legado a las nuevas generaciones, las instituciones de educación superior al momento cuentan con plataformas para impartir clases en línea. La presente investigación analiza la capacidad organizativa, pedagógica y tecnológica de la enseñanza - aprendizaje virtual de la carrera de odontología en tiempos de pandemia. El grupo de estudio estuvo conformado por estudiantes matriculados en el periodo académico abril septiembre 2020 y docentes que laboraron en el mismo periodo. Fue un estudio descriptivo de corte trasversal; los instrumentos utilizados obtuvieron un alfa de Cronbach 0.946 y 0.919 para estudiantes y docentes respectivamente. Los resultados obtenidos se cuantificaron en una escala de Likert donde los docentes indicaron que los ejes organizativo, pedagógico y tecnológico en tiempos de pandemia fueron porcentualmente mayores en escala de muy bueno y excelente, mientras que los estudiantes reportan un porcentaje mayor para la escala regular y buena. Se concluye que a pesar que los estudiantes aducen problemas propios del proceso de enseñanza virtual en los diferentes ejes, hay que recalcar la importancia y utilidad de esta modalidad en tiempos de pandemia. Se deben mantener y reforzar los procesos de capacitación docente por parte de la universidad con respecto a las herramientas digitales y realizar asesorías permanentes para los actores educativos.
El objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es analizar cuál es el conocimiento y uso que dan a las bases de datos científicas para enseñanza los estudiantes del sexto ciclo de la carrera de medicina en Azogues Ecuador. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva, permitirá determinar aspectos relevantes a través de la encuesta, como niveles de conocimiento, niveles de frecuencia de uso y acceso; a partir de esto se desarrolla una propuesta, para mejorar el uso de las bases de datos científicas para la enseñanza de medicina. De los resultados más relevantes tenemos que los recursos de acceso abierto son las más conocidas y usadas, SciELO lidera con un 78,88 %, no así las bases digitales de suscripción y los recursos digitales institucionales que son poco conocidas y usadas.
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo alcanzar resultados positivos en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de bachillerato a partir del uso de la herramienta Kahoot en las matemáticas, de tipo cuasi experimental con dos grupos de estudiantes uno de control y otro experimental. Los resultados fueron asignados mediante una encuesta a los estudiantes del grupo experimental y una evaluación de conocimientos específicos a los dos grupos, en el cual el grupo experimental obtuvo resultados positivos con un valor p menor al 0.05, como conclusión tenemos que los estudiantes del grupo experimental quienes utilizaron la herramienta Kahoot obtuvieron un mejor rendimiento académico en consideración con el grupo que trabajó de manera tradicional.
El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar el uso del Storytelling como estrategia que puede ayudar a prevenir el bullying en la institución educativa American School, para la cual se realizó una investigación de carácter descriptiva no experimental de cohorte transversal. Los alumnos consideran que la prevención del acoso escolar debe ser parte del plan de estudios de la institución y que no están de acuerdo ni en desacuerdo que el uso de los medios digitales son una herramienta para la prevención del acoso. Con esto se abre la posibilidad de poder utilizar el storytelling como estrategia para la prevención del acoso escolar debido a que al momento de crear las historias los estudiantes se volverán parte de la misma, se interrelacionaran y trabajaran en equipo fomentando los valores de la empatía y el respeto entre ellos, además de conectar emocionalmente con el mensaje que desean transmitir.
