Abstract: The objetive of this study was to design and validate a battery on perceptual-motor capabilities in children aged 5 to 10 years in a Colombian school population, with a sample of 329 participants. At the methodological level, it was quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive in nature. The Content Validity Ratio (CVR) was applied for the test items; and the content validity index (CVI) for full test proposed by Tristán-López, (2008). In the analysis of intra and inter reliability, the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was used with a non-probabilistic sample of 35 boys and girls who were evaluated on two occasions, with a significance level of P<0.05 and a confidence interval of 95%; finally, the technical error of measurement (ETM) was calculated, both relative and absolute, with a reference value of less than 5.9%. The instruments used were a sociodemographic profile and the perceptual-motor capabilities battery validated in the study; the information collected was processed and digitized in Microsoft Excel 2016 and subsequently analyzed in SPSS software version 27. Results: the battery designed to evaluate the CPM, presents statistically good results in of content validity index (CVI=0.97) and reliability intra-subjects (ICC= 0.794) and inter-judges (ICC=0.968) in the sum of CPM. Finally, their respective qualification (scales by quartiles) of the CPMs that aim to strengthen children's motor skills from an early age is proposed.
