Las inscripciones de la Alhambra y del Generalife han sido estudiadas desde hace más de cuatrocientos años y se ha determinado tanto la autoría de los poemas presentes en los muros como su sentido. En este artículo documentamos uno de los dos poemas cuya autoría no había sido determinada hasta la fecha y mostramos el sentido de la misma en el reino nazarí de Granada y en el norte de África.
ResumenLa relativa pobreza de la literatura biográfica árabe de los primeros tiempos parece relacionarse con unas tendencias similares en aquel tiempo en las literaturas de las lenguas cercanas al surgimiento del imperio islámico: griega, latina, siríaca…solo el paso del tiempo permitió que los elementos literarios biográficos adquirieran una madurez y un desarrollo extraordinarios, ya a finales del siglo X y comienzos del XI.Palabras clave: Biografía, Literatura árabe, Tardo-Antigüedad.
AbstractThe sober examples of a biographical tradition in Arabic Literature during the first times of the Muslim Empire only reflects a trend that at that time was common to older traditions like Greek, Latin o Syriac Literature… only the development of Arabic Literature over the 8 th and 12 th centuries allowed the maturity of this Biographical Literature at the end of the 10 th century and the beginning of the 11 th century.
El episodio del engaño de las arcas en el Poema de Mio Cid (PMC) ha recibido diferentes interpretaciones. Proponemos analizar de forma detenida aspectos relacionados con la representación del PMC cuya interpretación dependía de la reelaboración de narraciones cortas de origen árabe y hebreo, y que eran conocidas por el público al que iba dirigido el PMC. El motivo literario presente en las narraciones acerca de robos sufridos por judíos piadosos que eran resarcidos por Dios y que constituían una victoria sobre los paganos o los cristianos, va a ser invertido en esta ocasión para destacar la superioridad de la fe cristiana. La evolución del motivo literario propuesto en las diferentes tradiciones señaladas será también objeto de estudio.
