Resumen. Desde que a mediados de los años ochenta el psiquiatra estadounidense Richard Gardner definiera el Síndrome de Alienación Parental muchas han sido las controversias sociales, científicas y jurídicas surgidas entorno a él. Entendiendo que dicha fenomenología tiene en el contexto judicial su principal ámbito de expresión, en el presente artículo se propone un abordaje de la misma desde la evaluación pericial psicológica que por definición debe desarrollarse al margen de ideologías, pensamiento político o influencia de grupos o sensibilidades sociales, atendiendo únicamente a criterios técnico-científicos.
Resumen. El trastorno psicopático de personalidad o psicopatía, a pesar de sus controversias en el contexto clínico ha resultado de enorme interés en el ámbito de la psicopatología criminal y forense al mostrarse tras la evidencia científica acumulada como un factor predictor de primera magnitud de la conducta trasgresora de la normativa social y legal. En el presente trabajo se propone un modelo comprehensivo de la dinámica de personalidad psicopática desde una perspectiva psicopatológica como paso previo y necesario para facilitar su análisis criminológico.
