Este estudio analizó las propiedades estructurales en redes de coautoría y colaboracióninstitucional en Ciencias Sociales, a partir de los artículos publicados entre 2006 y 2015 por 3804autores de siete disciplinas. Las características estructurales se calcularon mediante Análisis de RedesSociales y fueron comparadas según género de autores y áreas de conocimiento. No se hallarondiferencias significativas en relación con el género, pero disciplinariamente se observan diferenciasen la cercanía e importancia relativa de los autores. Las redes institucionales mostraron baja densidad,alta fragmentación y poca cohesión. En ciencias sociales en Colombia crece el número mujeres conproductividad similar a los hombres; institucionalmente se requiere de estrategias que dinamicen lacooperación con miras a mejorar el impacto de las producciones.
El objetivo de este artículo fue identificar la existencia de relaciones significativas entre los indicadores estructurales y funcionales de las redes personales de individuos desmovilizados y sus niveles de calidad de vida física y psicológica. Se evaluaron 37 individuos residentes en una zona de distención militar en el Caribe Colombiano aplicando el SF-36 y el ASSIS en un estudio correlacional. Los datos se examinaron mediante Análisis de Redes Sociales (ARS) y cálculo estadístico con la t de Student y el coeficiente de correlación de Pearson. Se observaron redes pequeñas, con altos niveles de insatisfacción frente al apoyo social y reducidos promedios de calidad de vida. Se registraron diferencias significativas en la percepción general de apoyo de las redes y la obtención objetiva de ayuda (p = 0.000), así como correlaciones entre los niveles de participación social en las redes y la vitalidad psicológica de los individuos
Este estudio tiene como objetivo construir una tipología que permita identificar el perfil del dominio afectivo de futuros maestros de matemáticas según sus actitudes hacia la disciplina, sus manifestaciones de ansiedad matemática y sus creencias hacia esta área. Mediante un estudio transversal correlacional simple se evaluaron 455 estudiantes de licenciatura en matemáticas (42.9% mujeres), con un rango de edad entre 17 y 27 años (M= 21.33, DE=3.29) a quienes se aplicó dos instrumentos psicométricos. Se construyeron conglomerados considerando actitudes, ansiedad y creencias, así como aspectos demográficos. Los resultados identifican tres perfiles tipológicos, (1) estudiantes neófitos, con aproximación negativa hacia la matemática, (2) estudiantes intermedios, con aproximación ambivalente hacia la matemática y (3), estudiantes autoeficaces y matemáticamente competentes, todos ellos claramente diferenciados según las características afectivas y algunas variables demográficas. De acuerdo con los hallazgos, se discuten las implicaciones de la formación afectivo-emocional para la matemática educativa y se trazan nuevos horizontes de análisis.
A través de este estudio se evaluó la existencia de diferencias entre las manifestaciones de burnout y los problemas de salud mental en docentes de acuerdo con sus características demográficas y sociolaborales. La evaluación se cumplió con 235 docentes del nivel medio académico de cuatro instituciones oficiales en Colombia, aplicando el MBI-Ed y el GHQ-28 a través de un estudio empírico de diseño comparativo. Se observó mayor agotamiento y baja realización profesional entre las mujeres, los solteros y sin hijos; los hombres tendieron más a despersonalizarse. Problemas de salud mental como ansiedad-insomnio y síntomas somáticos fueron más frecuentes entre docentes con contratación fija, mayor número de horas de trabajo diario y menor experiencia profesional. Se discuten las implicaciones de las variables individuales y las asociadas con el contexto laboral en la aparición de burnout y condiciones que afectan la salud psicológica del educador; es necesario reconocer el papel de estas variables para generar escenarios educativos y condiciones de desempeño que permitan al docente lidiar con el estrés de su tarea de forma adecuada.
