RESUMOEste artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre os fatores arquitetônicos e de design de interiores que potencialmente elevam o risco de queda de idosos em domicílios. Metodologicamente, trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica sistematizada a partir de consultas realizadas nas bases de dados científicas Scielo, Lilacs e Capes com as palavras "habitação", "qualidade de vida", "queda" e "idoso". Com isso, objetiva-se também apresentar as contribuições da Ergonomia para o estudo do ambiente construído destinado à população idosa e o confronto entre as recomendações teóricas e as soluções projetuais encontradas nos casos empíricos.Palavras-chave: Queda.
