Este libro pretende seguir las preocupaciones de los primeros ejercicios de reflexión sobre la pandemia. Nos hemos propuesto estimular un debate público, que sea informado y original, sobre la experiencia actual, dotándolo de ideas, argumentos y algunas problematizaciones poco divulgadas. Porque creemos en la necesidad de exponer dilemas y problematizar realidades que, desde diferentes disciplinas y sensibilidades, permitan comprender el profundo y complejo impacto que esta pandemia tiene y podrá tener sobre las condiciones materiales, pero también subjetivas, de muchas y muy diferentes personas a lo largo de nuestras sociedades. Y porque creemos también, dicho lo anterior, en la necesidad de ayudar a crear −e insistir sobre− nuevas visiones del mundo actual, siempre críticas, nunca ingenuas, pero necesarias y posibles [Juan José Fernández Dusso].

A partir de una experiencia de memoria exponemos un acercamiento delectura y significación sobre los telares de las mujeres de Mampuján, corregimientode María La Baja, Bolívar, como artefactos de comunicación vinculante. Partimosdel hecho de que los telares -como práctica sociocultural- recogen una situaciónde violencia y terror vivida, padecida, por los habitantes de la vereda Las Brisas yMampuján, representada en la tela, y de cómo las víctimas-testigos sobrevivientes seapropian de su historia pasada como condición para construir una nueva interlocucióncon la sociedad, con miras a rehacer sus vidas, proyectar sus esperanzas en el futuroy ser sujetos históricos de verdad y justicia.
A nivel internacional, estudios como el Informe Horizon (Educase, 2021), sostiene que los recursos educativos abiertos representarán —en el mediano plazo— una alternativa educativa que posibilitará a los estudiantes el acceso a alternativas académicas en las que, inclusive, podrán aprender sin necesidad de contar con la presencia de un profesor. Sin embargo, en este mismo documento se afirma que más que pensar en la desaparición de los docentes, estos deberán transformar su labor y enfocarla a la atención de las demandas y necesidades de los estudiantes, así como aspectos relacionados con su salud mental y su estado emocional. Asimismo, es preciso plantear que ante situaciones extraordinarias como la pandemia derivada del Covid-19, estudiantes y docentes han experimentado una serie de dificultades y barreras que afectaron la manera en la que se desarrolla el vínculo de comunicación entre estos, situación que ha representado un reto sin igual para mantener el flujo de información de forma efectiva. En ese mismo contexto, aunque los estudiantes valoran de forma positiva la manera en la que los docentes han hecho frente a esta contingencia, encuentran importantes limitantes para desarrollar el ambiente de aprendizaje adecuado para su desarrollo. En esta investigación se analiza la perspectiva de los estudiantes sobre la forma en la que los profesores aplican diversas herramientas para construir relaciones estrechas con ellos; asimismo, se evalúan las estrategias que los profesores aplican para crear el ambiente óptimo para el aprendizaje de sus alumnos y facilitar su aprovechamiento.
