Uma adubação equilibrada desempenha papel fundamental para o aumento do rendimento das plantas cultivadas e na obtenção de uma produção elevada. A rochagem está atualmente entre os temas mais relevantes nesse sentido. Por isso, o presente estudo tem como objetivo avaliar o efeito da adubação com pó de rocha sobre o desenvolvimento da cultura do milho (Zae mays). Foi utilizado como material vegetativo o híbrido AG 7088 PRO3, cultivado em casa de vegetação em sistema de delineamento blocos casualizados, aplicando as seguintes doses de adubação: 0; 3; 5; 7 e 9 t ha-1 respectivamente. Como resposta a adubação, foram verificados à altura da planta, massa seca (a planta dividida em folha, colmo e raiz) e consequentemente a alocação da biomassa. Os dados obtidos foram submetidos à análise de variância e quando significativos, utilizou das técnicas da análise de regressão para interpretação. Foi concluído que para a altura, sugerem que a rochagem auxilia no desenvolvimento da cultura. Quando se refere a produção de massa seca, é evidente que a adubação proporciona um ganho de rendimento superior a testemunha (0 t ha-1). A alocação de biomassa expressa que os tratamentos com rochagem indicam um melhor equilíbrio nutricional quando referido ao comparativo de médias.
