Este trabalho diferencia os conceitos de “escola sustentável” e “espaço educador sustentável” a partir da análise dos documentos do Programa Nacional Escolas Sustentáveis e das Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Educação Ambiental. Para isso, fez-se o recorte temporal de 2010-2018, pesquisou-se na Biblioteca Digital Brasileira de Teses e Dissertações as publicações acerca do PNES e realizou-se análise documental. Toda análise baseia-se no estabelecido por Fleck (2010) sobre estilos e coletivo de pensamento. Revela-se que os conceitos encontram-se difundidos nas ações da CNIJMA, no Processo Formativo Escolas Sustentáveis e Com-vida e no PDDE Escola Sustentável. Além disso, há convergência na compreensão do que seja escola sustentável e espaço educador sustentável, tanto nas Políticas Públicas para a Educação Ambiental quanto para os pesquisadores contemporâneos.

Este trabalho objetiva conhecer a representação de escola sustentável de professoras da área de Linguagens que atuam na educação básica em Campo Grande/MS. Trata-se de uma pesquisa que se apoia na metodologia Kozel para a análise de 8 (oito) mapas mentais sob o tema “escola sustentável”. A busca pela representação da escola sustentável está pautada na disseminação dos princípios propostos no Programa Nacional Escolas Sustentáveis/PNES e nas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Educação Ambiental/DCNEA. A discussão foi ancorada em teóricos da percepção ambiental e em documentos nacionais do PNES. Constatou-se uma representação da escola sustentável pautada na inclusão de ecotécnicas.
