Una alternativa de solución a problemas de optimización numérica se encuentra en los métodos heurísticos, uno de ellos es el algoritmo genético simple, el cual ha sido objeto de estudio de varios trabajos que tienen como finalidad mejorar su repetibilidad (estabilidad con respecto al número de ejecuciones) y su convergencia. Un ejemplo de los trabajos anteriores es el uso de un algoritmo computacional desarrollado en 2011 por Camilo y Yamanaka basado en la técnica de reproducción asistida denominada Fertilización In Vitro, usando una codificación basada en números binarios. En ese trabajo se compararon la repetibilidad y la convergencia de un algoritmo genético simple y uno con Fertilización In Vitro ambos con codificación real, utilizando como caso de estudio la minimización del error cuadrático medio de un controlador PID aplicado a la regulación de temperatura de una celda termoeléctrica. Cabe destacar que los códigos escritos para este trabajo fueron desarrollados en Scilab un software de simulación matemática de licencia libre.
Resumen. El micro maquinado electroquímico por pulsos (PECMM), es un proceso de manufactura no convencional, en donde la herramienta de trabajo no tiene desgaste, por lo que ofrece una gran ventaja para fabricar piezas de un tamaño reducido, en comparación con los procesos convencionales. El mantener las condiciones óptimas del proceso PECMM garantiza mayor eficiencia y rendimiento de maquinado, donde una de las condiciones críticas del proceso es mantener constante la distancia entre el electrodo y la pieza de trabajo (distancia entre electrodos) para garantizar la remoción homogénea del material. En este documento se presenta el diseño y aplicación de un controlador por lógica difusa (FLC) tipo SISO (del inglés, una entrada una salida) con tres conjuntos difusos de entrada y tres de salida, cuyo objetivo es asegurar que la distancia entre electrodos se mantenga en el orden de 240µm. La implementación de un controlador de este tipo demuestra ser una alternativa eficaz para esta tarea, principalmente debido a que la distancia entre electrodos no es una variable observable directamente, sino que se debe estimar a partir de otras variables del proceso. Lo anterior se realiza mediante la medición de la corriente de maquinado. Los resultados muestran que el controlador permite ajustar progresivamente la distancia del electrodo, por lo que se obtiene un canal de profundidad homogénea, inclusive si la superficie presenta irregularidades a lo largo de la trayectoria de desplazamiento del electrodo, con una precisión cercana a 10 µm.Palabras clave: control por lógica difusa, micro-maquinado electroquímico por pulsos, procesos de manufactura.Abstract. Resumen. Las celdas termoeléctricas son dispositivos semiconductores que se usan en la refrigeración móvil, su comportamiento, es decir la forma que responden a ciertos estímulos eléctricos puede manipularse por medio de técnicas de ingeniería de control, la más popular, el controlador Proporcional-Integral-Derivativo cuyos parámetros son sintonizados por medio del criterio de Zigler-Nichols; el cual, en este artículo, es comparado con un algoritmo genético canónico de 40 cromosomas y con una versión reducida de este, denominado micro algoritmo genético de 5 individuos. En este trabajo ambas técnicas evolutivas son codificadas con números reales y recombinadas por medio de operadores de cruce aritmético no uniforme. Los resultados generados por los algoritmos propuestos son simulados mediante Scilab.
Una celda termoeléctrica es un dispositivo semiconductor de dos capas que basa su funcionamiento en los efectos Thompson y Seebeck; por lo tanto, es factible su uso en la refrigeración móvil y es posible regular su funcionamiento por técnicas de ingeniería de control. En este trabajo se documenta un controlador difuso tipo Mamdani de una entrada (porcentaje de error) y una salida (pendiente de control), cuyos conjuntos difusos se calcularon por medio de un algoritmo genético con codificación real, con una función de costo implementada con base en la integral del error absoluto. Cabe destacar que la presente propuesta se basa en Scilab, un software de licencia GNU.
