Tamuda, destrucción mauritana, Sertorio, fossa, recientes excavaciones. Resumen: En los últimos años se han realizado nuevas investigaciones arqueológicas en la ciudad mauritana y en el campamento militar romano de Tamuda (norte de Marruecos), al amparo del proyecto EAT (Economía y Artesanado en Tamuda). Se presenta en este trabajo tanto una síntesis de los principales resultados previos (recuperación de los dossieres de las antiguas excavaciones de Montalbán, Quintero y Tarradell, y documentación de nuevas inscripciones asociadas al Balneum Oriental) como también los hallazgos inéditos de las últimas intervenciones. Especialmente la constatación de una destrucción violenta y generalizada del Barrio Oriental de Tamuda, fechada en la primera mitad del s. I a.C., documentada estratigráficamente en dos edificios mauritanos con unos contextos materiales bien conservados. Esta tabula rasa del yacimiento podría asociarse a la presencia de Sertorio en la región norteafricana, y a los episodios vinculados a la sucesión de los monarcas mauritanos; y los primeros datos sobre el posible foso del campamento militar romano, abandonado en el s. V d.C., que es uno de los pocos documentados en los castella y castra de la Mauretania Tingitana. Mots-clés : Tamuda, destruction maurétanienne, Sertorius, fossa, fouilles récentes. Résumé : De nouvelles recherches archéologiques ont été réalisées ces dernières années dans la ville mautétanienne et dans le camp romain de Tamuda (Maroc septentrional), dans le cadre du projet EAT (Economía y Artesanado en Tamuda). Nous présentons ici une synthèse des principaux résultats obtenus jusqu'ici (récupération des dossiers des anciennes fouilles menées par Montalbán, Quintero et Tarradell, documentation des nouvelles inscriptions associées au Balneum Oriental), notamment les trouvailles inédites des dernières interventions. En particulier, on a pu constater une destruction violente et généralisée du Barrio Oriental de Tamuda, datée de la première moitié du i er s. a.C., qui est stratigraphiquement documentée dans deux édifices maurétaniens avec des contextes de mobilier bien documentés. Cette tabula rasa du gisement pourrait être associée à la présence de Sertorius dans la région nord-africaine, ainsi qu'aux faits liés à la succession des rois maurétaniens; les premières données concernant le possible fossé du camp militaire romain, abandonné au v e s. apr. J.-C., qui est l'un des peu nombreux documentés dans les castella et castra de la Mauretania Tingitana.
