Pada ibu hamil Covid-19 menjadi perhatian khusus. Meskipun sampai saat ini pengetahuan tentang infeksi Covid-19 dalam hubungannya dengan kehamilan dan janin masih terbatas dan belum ada rekomendasi spesifik untuk penanganan ibu hamil dengan Covid-19. Berdasarkan kasus infeksi Coronavirus sebelumnya (SARS-COV dan MERS-COV) dan beberapa kasus Covid-19 diketahui bahwa ibu hamil memiliki risiko lebih tinggi untuk terjadinya penyakit berat dan kematian dibandingkan dengan populasi umum. Sampai saat ini masih belum jelas dan belum ada bukti bahwa infeksi Covid-19 dapat ditularkan ke bayi melalui rute transplasenta. Dalam hal pengaruh ke janin, sampai saat ini belum ada bukti bahwa Covid-19 meningkatkan angka keguguran. Terdapat data bahwa Covid-19 meningkatkan kelahiran prematur. Pemeriksaan ultrasound disarankan dilakukan 14 hari setelah masa karantina. Sehubungan dengan proses persalinan, saat ini tidak ada bukti bahwa persalinan abdominal akan memiliki luaran lebih baik dibandingkan persalinan vaginal pada kasus infeksi Covid-19. Berdasarkan data per tanggal 14 Februari 2020, angka mortalitas di seluruh dunia sebesar 2,1%, secara khuss di kota Wuhan sebesar 4,9% dan provinsi Hubei sebesar 3,1%. Di Indonesia per tanggal 14 Maret 2020 ada sebanyak 96 kasus yang terkonfirmasi COVID-19 dengan jumlah kematian 6 orang dan menjadi negara ke 65 yang positif konfirmasi COVID-19. Secara keseluruhan tingkat mortalitas dari COVID-19 masih lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan kejadian luar biasa oleh Coronavirus tipe lain yaitu Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome-coronavirus (SARSCoV) dan Middle East Respiratory Syndrome-coronavirus (MERS-CoV) masingmasing sebesar 10% dan 40%.
Toddler Growth in the Working Area of Kuok Public Health Center, Kampar Regency. The first five years of a child’s life are critical for growth and development because these years assist in generating the adult they will become. Data from WHO discovered that in developing countries, almost 45% of children under five suffer from growth and development disorders. Data from Kuok Public Health Center also demonstrated that in the last three years, there was an increase in the cases of malnutrition were 27 toddlers in 2018. Meanwhile, the were 32 cases in 2019 and 44 in 2020. This study aims to examine factors associated with toddler growth in the working area of Kuok Public Health Center, Kampar Regency. It was a cross-sectional study conducted in the working area of Kuok Public Health Center, Kampar regency, Riau Province. It was performed in January 2021. The samples are 60 toddlers aged 12-60 months with a growth chart. They were selected to be the sample of the study through consecutive sampling. A Chi-square test was administered to evaluate the bivariable. Bivariable analysis displayed a relationship among nutritional status (p-value 0.003, OR 8.321), parenting (p-value 0.003, OR 7.342), exclusive breastfeeding (p-value 0.002, OR 9.201), and parental income (p-value 0.031, OR 4.486) with the growth in toddler. In conclusion, the relationship among nutritional status, parenting, exclusive breastfeeding, and parental income with toddler growth was revealed.
