Acromioclavicular (AC) dislocation is a common lesion often resulting from a sports injury. Nowadays, treatment is still controversial mainly in grade III lesions according to the Rockwood classification. For most surgically treated AC acute dislocations, treatment is performed with an arthroscopic procedure that anatomically reconstructs the coracoclavicular ligaments. Increasing knowledge about AC joint biomechanics has underlined the importance of its horizontal stability through the superior and inferior AC ligaments. Moreover, the pattern of lesion tends to repeat itself, with the superior AC ligament being torn most frequently from the clavicular side in a peeling fashion. Therefore, the purpose of this note is to describe the technical aspects of additional horizontal stability through superior AC ligament repair using suture anchors.
Tarsal navicular fractures, as well as other midfoot injuries, are rare, and can result in severe impairment if not properly treated. Parkour, a modern sport, is gaining popularity among young individuals in urban areas, and is prone to result in high-energy trauma, which is scarcely described in the literature. The following is a report of a rare case of tarsal navicular fracture in a 17-year-old male, sustained during parkour practice, which was treated successfully with open reduction and internal fixation. The description of the case emphasizes the challenges of its approach; the discussion highlights the treatment options and goals. The case should also raise awareness about the increasing occurrence of these uncommon lesions.

REFERÊNCIAS Flagrante de uma Fratura da Clavícula por Acidente Tauromáquico Flagrant of a Clavicle Fracture as Bullfight Injury ABSTRACTThe Vila Franca de Xira Hospital is located in the region with the highest number of festivals and bullfighting activities of Portugal. As a natural consequence, the hospital ends up with a particular experience in the treatment of victims of bullfighting accidents. These are usually common people harvested in street celebrations during the traditional festivals of the region, but also workers such as cattle herders, foremen, ranchers and others who handle the wild cattle and in particular those who deal with the bulls, such as forcados, banderilleros, matadors and cavaleiros.
