En este artículo se presenta la teleoperación unidireccional con dos dispositivos hápticos mediante un control lineal PD. En los últimos años, los investigadores del área de robótica están en caminados a manipular y controlar a distancia a robots. En la actualidad, las principales aportaciones de los sistemas de teleoperación abundan en las distintas áreas de aplicación como medicina, industria, construcción, tareas peligrosas, trabajos en ambientes inseguros o inestables, en lugares difíciles de alcanzar, tareas de alta complejidad, entre otros, ya que le permite al usuario protección, seguridad y no se arriesga su integridad física. En este artículo se describe los antecedentes, estado del arte, resultados experimentales lo que permite demostrar que el control funciona correctamente a pesar de tener el inconveniente del tiempo de retardo entre los dispositivos hápticos, ambos son de 3 grados de libertad, además, la descripción detallada del equipo experimental, la configuración de los softwares para seleccionar y calibrar los dispositivos hápticos. Por otro lado, la teleoperación entre los robots manipuladores es llevada a cabo en el software Matlab/Simulink®, donde se asignan las direcciones IP y se controla el tráfico de paquetes entre ambos dispositivos.
En los últimos años, las investigaciones del área de la mecatrónica están encaminadas al desarrollo de robots que ayuden al ser humano en sus actividades cotidianas. Actualmente los trabajos e investigaciones están orientados a los de robots blandos, suaves o softrobots, ya que permiten fácilmente interactuar y adaptarse a cualquier superficie. Los robots blandos tienen una estructura suave, deformables, flexibles, además son seguros comparados con los robots rígidos, sin embargo, son más difíciles de analizar la cinemático y la dinámico. En este artículo describe el estado del arte, clasificación y aplicaciones del robot suave, además se muestra a detalle el diseño y fabricación de un prototipo robot suave llamado pneunet, el diseño de estos es realizado mediante el paquete de software SolidWorks y el molde creando en una impresora 3D. El robot suave está diseñado de material suave y deformable, para que pueda tener sujeción y pueda moverse libremente por todo su espacio de trabajo sin dañar al usuario. El pneunet es construido para conocer el funcionamiento y las características morfológicas de los robots suaves.
Este artículo describe el estado del arte donde se muestra los avances de las investigaciones de los distintos dispositivos inalámbricos de emisión de electroencefalograma (EEG). También se muestra un software prototipo que interpreta las señales cerebrales que provienen de la diadema Emotiv Epoc, este proceso es llamado Interface Cerebro Computadora (ICC) o BCI (por sus siglas en inglés Brain Computer Interface) que resuelve el problema de identificación de señales EEG. El software es diseñado en Matlab y Simulink que interpreta las señales cerebrales, estas señales se pueden guardar o manipularlas en tiempo real. El software convierte las señales cerebrales a voltaje para manipular dispositivos manipuladores externos. Actualmente este trabajo está en la fase de pruebas experimentales en seres humanos y se emplea el método de adquisición de la señal no invasivo. Algunos resultados experimentales de la diadema Emotiv Epoc. Este artículo se muestra las señales que emite la diadema de los gestos faciales tales parpadeos, apretar la mandíbula, fruncir la nariz y giñar un ojo. Se espera que este trabajo ayude a personas que no tengan movimiento de su cuerpo y no puedan hablar, a manipular objetos e interpretar a través de sus gestos faciales con la diadema.
En este trabajo se diseña y construye un sistema mecatrónico para apoyar a niños con alguna discapacidad motriz de la extremidad superior (brazo) enfocado a las terapias ocupacionales. Este dispositivo está encauzado a niños por lo que está construido de forma sencilla y atractiva para que siempre tenga interés el infante de realizar sus terapias, sin dejar a un lado que el equipo debe de cumplir el objetivo principal de rehabilitación. Se diseña un equipo para terapias ocupacionales debido a la falta de mecanismos que brinde ayuda al terapeuta en la realización de sus sesiones de rehabilitación y a la vez motive al paciente en este caso al niño a realizar la terapia. El diseño es realizado en un software CAD como es Solidworks y se construye con material suave y resistente para no dañar al infante. Además, se añade al dispositivo un juego de led para que le sea más atractivo e interesante al niño. Este equipo experimental de rehabilitación fue probado en un centro de rehabilitación de niños con problemas motrices y la respuesta de los infantes fue exitosa. Para la realización de este trabajo, en todo momento se recibió colaboración de terapeutas y del apoyo de las mamás de los niños de forma entusiasta.
Este artículo presenta la manipulación de un dispositivo háptico Novint Falcon de tres grados de libertad a través de un brazalete Myo de control de gestos de antebrazo y mano. La interfaz de comunicación del brazalalete Myo y el control del dispositivo háptico son desarrollada en Simulink de MATLAB, mediante librerías y controladores propias de los dispositivos. Además muestra un control lineal PID para la manipulación del dispositivo háptico, teniendo como señal de referencia el brazalete electromiográfico Myo de una persona, se utiliza para detectar los gestos del antebrazo y mano. Esta aplicación está desarrollada para que personas con alguna discapacidad motriz de la extremidad superior pueda manipular objetos.
