RESUMO Introdução: Observa-se um pronunciado aumento da popularidade das corridas de rua; consequentemente, há mais adeptos dessa prática. Assim sendo, vários estudos vêm buscando diversas abordagens da modalidade, visando desvendar os mecanismos que a compõem. Objetivo: Verificar a incidência de lesões em praticantes de corrida de rua do município de Criciúma, SC, assim como outros fatores associados, como perfil dos praticantes, características do treinamento e existência de acompanhamento profissional. Métodos: Foi realizado um estudo descritivo transversal com 88 corredores (56 homens e 32 mulheres). Resultados: A média de idade foi 36 anos, sendo que a maioria dos participantes praticava corrida três vezes por semana (55,4%) e, do total da amostra, 43,2% já haviam tido alguma lesão, sendo o joelho (52,6%) o local mais acometido. Entre os que já tinham sofrido lesão, houve forte correlação entre quantidade de lesões e o tempo de prática da modalidade (r = 0,269) e os que percorriam maior distância média diária de treino (r = 0,226). No entanto, os dados demonstraram que o trabalho preventivo não foi eficaz na diminuição de incidência de lesão (r = -0,133). Conclusão: Há uma relação direta entre distância percorrida e lesão, bem como o tempo de prática. A orientação de profissionais não tem influência significativa na redução das lesões, ou seja, muitas lesões podem ser decorrentes do volume e da intensidade dos treinos prescritos ou executados de maneira equivocada, não respeitando o condicionamento físico atual e a individualidade biológica, na perspectiva de superar seus próprios limites de qualquer modo. Ressaltamos a importância de mais estudos que relacionem a progressão de treinamento, lesão e prevenção.

Objective: To identify work aspects that generate satisfaction for the professionals who work in the Family Health Strategy. Method: This was a qualitative, descriptive study that involved five geographical regions of Brazil, and 27 Family Health Teams from six municipalities. The data were collected from 76 health professionals using semi-structured interviews, and were analyzed articulating the three phases of content analysis using Atlas.ti software resources. Results: The findings showed 129 statement excerpts, with 14 codes, grouped into three categories related to satisfaction. The category, Job Identification and Family Health Strategy Principles, represented 40.3%, with the codes: team work, job affinity, health model, completeness of care, and longitudinality of care. The category, Relationship with Family Health Strategy patients, represented 32.6%, with the following codes: bonding with patient, resoluteness of care, patient satisfaction, and patient care. Finally, the category, Professional and Working Aspects related to the Family Health Strategy, represented 27.1%, with the following codes: relationship with professionals, work recognition, enjoying the profession, team organization, and employment relationship. Conclusion: Professional satisfaction is associated with the work principles of the Family Health Strategy, and with the relationships that are established between patients, professionals and health management. It also has a subjective dimension, with a strong relationship with characteristics of the work process, how it is organized, and under what conditions and relationships this work occurs.

Work processes begin by establishing intervention objectives, followed by defining the object that professionals seek to transform and the availability and means of performing tasks and achieving the expected products. The aim of this study was to assess the perception of physical education professionals regarding the purpose of their activities, the object of their professional intervention and the products of their work in the Academia da Saúde (Health Academy) Program. To that end, we carried out a qualitative study with 18 professionals working in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, Pernambuco state, in northeastern Brazil. Content analysis of the interviews used the condensation of meaning technique. It was found that these workers identified health promotion as a goal of their actions, individuals and communities as objects of their intervention, and improvement of physical and functional performance, social interaction and biopsychosocial benefits as the main products of their work in the program. On the other hand, perception of health promotion focuses on changing behavior, and lack of coordination in program activities with Basic Health Care teams demonstrates a worrisome move away from proposals for intersectoral and organizational multidisciplinary work processes with a view to comprehensive care in the National Health System (SUS).
