This study aims to apply the Discovery Learning learning model to increase student learning activity in the thematic learning of class V SD Negeri 1 Selo. This research method used classroom action research which is carried out in 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Selo, totaling 14 students. The instrument used observation and tests. While the data analysis technique used descriptive quantitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that student learning activity has increased. Learning activity in cycle 1, meeting 1, was 59.77%, followed by meeting 2, which was 60%. Based on the results of cycle 1, it has shown an increase. The increase that occurred in cycle 1 also occurred in cycle 2. In cycle 2, meeting 1, the percentage of active learning was 68.09%. Furthermore, at the second meeting, it was 69.53%. Based on the results of cycle 2, it has also shown an increase. Then it increased in cycle 3 of meeting 1 to 75.48%, and meeting 2 of 79.53%.
The occurrence of COVID-19 has a psychological impact on the elderly which will affect mental health and quality of life. This study aimed to identify the relationship between depression, anxiety, coping strategies with the quality of life of the elderly. This cross sectional study was conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Cluster sampling technique was used to select 232 sample. This study employed geriatric depression scale (GDS 15) to measure depression, the geriatric anxiety inventory (GAI) to measure anxiety, brief resilient coping skala (BRCS) to measure coping stratecgies, and the WHOQOOL-BRIEF questionnaire to measure quality of life among the elderly. Data analysis used Multiple Linear Regression statistical test. This study showed that there is a correlation between depression and quality of life (p=0.000), anxiety and quality of life (p=0.000) with coping strategies and quality of life (p=0.027). This study recommended the provision of appropriate psychological interventions to improve and maintain the quality of life among the elderly.<p> </p>
Introduction: In the human life cycle there is growth and development either physically and mentally. In the elderly phase there are both physical and mental changes due to the degenerative process, leading to limitation in having physical activities, remembering things and speaking. This limitation affects social interaction with others which tends to decline and become passive. Decreasing social interaction of the elderly can cause the feeling of isolation, being useless and lead them to seclusion, because there is no emotional channeling through socializing. The purpose of this study was to identify the association between mental status and Social Interaction Capacity among the elderly at Sukodadi Community Health Center, Lamongan District. Methods: This quantitative study used correlational study and cross sectional design. Data were obtained from Short Portable Mental Status Questionnaire and social interaction capacity questionnaire. Samples consisted of 47 respondents, taken with consecutive sampling technique. Data analysis used Spearman test. Results: The majority of respondents (44,7%) had medium intellectual damage and the majority (51,1%) had medium social interaction capacity. The result of Spearman rho test showed p=0,024 and r=0,328 which meant that there was association between mental status and social interaction capacity at medium strength and positive correlation direction. Conclusion: There was association between mental status and social interaction capacity of the elderly at Sukodadi Community Health Center, Lamongan District.
Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar tema 4 subtema 1 pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jeketro. Peneliti menerapkan pendekatan Technology, Pedagogy, Content Knowledge (TPACK) untuk mewujudkan kedua hal tersebut. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik tema 4 subtema 1 kelas V SD Negeri 1 Jeketro. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dilaksanakan secara sistematis dengan manggunakan angket pengamatan aktivitas belajar dan tes formatif berbasis online. Berdasarkan pengamatan pembelajaran pada siklus pertama, tingkat aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar peserta didik mencapai 66,67% dengan rata-rata nilai hasil belajar mencapai 70,6. Pada siklus kedua, peneliti dengan penerapan pendekatan TPACK yang disesuaikan dengan hasil refleksi siklus pertama mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik hingga mencapai 93,33%, namun rata-rata nilai hasil belajar hanya mencapai 84. Penelitian belum dinyatakan berhasil karena indikator keberhasilan dari penelitian ini adalah 100% peserta didik dikategorikan beraktivitas baik dan tuntas dalam hasil belajarnya dengan rata-rata nilai minimal 85 sehingga penelitian dilanjutkan pada siklus ketiga. Pemantapan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan TPACK dilakukan pada siklus ketiga, dampak positif dari hal tersebut mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik yakni 100% dari jumlah peserta didik kelas V dinyatakan beraktivitas baik dalam pembelajaran dan mendapatkan niai lebih atau sama dengan KKM disertai rata-rata nilai mencapai 86. Dengan temuan dan hasil pengamatan dari siklus pertama sampai siklus ketiga terjadi kenaikan yang dominan dan mencapai Indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan peneliti. Atas dasar hal itu, peneliti menarik simpulan bahwa dengan penerapan pendekatan pada pembelajaran tema 4 subtema 1 di kelas V dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Dengan hasil ini, diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu referensi bagi peneliti lain dalam mengembangkan inovasi pembelajaran. Kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, TPACK
Latar Belakang: Inkontinensia urine (IU) adalah komplikasi yang sering timbul setelah tindakan Trans Urethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP). Kondisi tersebut dapat diatasi dengan latihan kegel karena mampu meningkatkan daya tahan otot dasar panggul sehingga meningkatkan resistensi uretra dan memperbaiki kemampuan berkemih serta mudah dilakukan secara mandiri, kapan saja, dan dimana saja.Tujuan: Menganalisis efektifitas latihan kegel terhadap skor inkontinensia urinepasien pasca-TURPMetode: Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen dengan besar sampel 64 responden yang diambil dengan metode systematic random sampling (32 kelompok intervensi, 32 kelompok kontrol). Instrumen yang digunakan kuesioner ICIQ-UI-SF untuk mengukur inkontinensia urin. Analisis data penelitian dengan uji Paired t-test dan uji Independen t-test dengan derajat kemaknaan α<0,05.Hasil: Hasil uji statistik Paired t-test menunjukkan latihan kegel mampu menurunkan skor inkontinensia urin pada pasien pasca-TURP dengan p=0,000 dan CI=0,688, dan hasil uji statistik Independent t-test didapatkan perbedaan skor inkontinensia urine pada kelompok intervensi dan kontrol pasca-latihan kegel dengan p=0,000.Kesimpulan: Latihan kegel secara efektif menurunkan skor inkontinensia urinepasien pasca-operasi TURP.
