Development and behaviour was investigated in a sample of 44 children and adults with Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome (RTS) using the Society for the Study of Behavioural Phenotypes Postal Questionnaire. There were few differences between males and females. Children and adults were compared. Most of the RTS adults communicated using speech but expressive speech was limited. Repetitive speech and repetitive movements, verbal abuse and over-friendliness with strangers were reported. Mood abnormalities and problems with self-injury were reported for about half the people surveyed. Toilet training appeared to take a long time, but the majority of adults surveyed were fully continent.
Air operations mission planning is a complex task, growing ever more complex as the number, variety, and interactivity of air assets increases. Mission planners are responsible for generating as close to optimal taskings of air assets to missions under severe time constraints. This function can be aided by decision-support tools to help ease the search process through automation. This paper presents several applications of multi-objective evolutionary algorithms for discovering suitable plans in the air operations domain, including dynamic targeting for air strike assets, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) asset mission planning, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) planning. Lessons learned from these studies are described and an exploration of potential future directions is discussed.

Key challenges were allowing analysts to share their models, interconnect their models, and explore the relationships between elements in a network of integrated models. Areas explored included how to translate between different interfaces, ontologies, sub-domains, and formalisms, e.g., Bayesian networks or causal diagrams for representing and executing or simulating models. Modeling paradigms investigated included, causal graphical models, stability and reconstruction operations models (SROM), concept graphs, concept maps, and various tools for building neural network models and production rules. Also included are results of investigations, recommendations for resolving model incompatibilities, methods for reasoning with heterogeneous networks of models, and a system design specification. Our primary approach for CPEF centered on graphical models, given their capability of providing human-centric, easy-to-understand visual representations of relationships amongst the models' variables, along with specific underlying procedural interpretations for query execution to understand dependencies among variables. We developed methods for building such graphical PMESII models, along with a methodology for wrapping existing models to facilitate interoperability. Abstract. Pixelization is the simple yet powerful technique of mapping each element of some data set to a pixel in a 2D image. There are 2 primary characteristics of pixels that can be leveraged to impart information: 1. their color and color-related attributes (hue, saturation, etc.) and 2. their arrangement in the image. We have found that applying a dimensional stacking layout to pixelization uniquely facilitates interactive data mining, directs user queries, and provides a type of visual principle components analysis. In this paper we describe our approach and how it is being used to analyze multidimensional, multivariate neuroscience data.
In this paper, we summarize a number of evaluation methods from the field of information visualization and how they can be applied in the domain of cyber security. We focus on techniques that have been validated during our own studies with organizations of varying sizes including small business and the United States Air Force. Recommendations are also provided for experimental design.
