Zusammenfassung
Ziel der Studie Entwicklung eines gendersensitiven Depressionsscreenings (GSDS), mit dem depressionsgefährdete Männer besser identifiziert werden können.
Methodik Das GSDS wurde an einer Stichprobe von Studierenden (n = 1020) evaluiert. Als Außenkriterien dienten die Kurzform der Allgemeinen Depressionsskala (ADS-K) sowie die deutsche Version der Male Role Norms Scale (MRNS) zur Erfassung normativer Maskulinität.
Ergebnisse Explorative Faktorenanalysen ergaben eine 6-Faktoren-Struktur. Die Faktoren Stresswahrnehmung, depressive Symptome, Aggressivität und emotionale Kontrolle erwiesen sich als relativ gleichwertig. Sensitivität (86 %) und Spezifität (78 %) sprechen für eine gute diskriminatorische Validität. Im Vergleich zum ADS-K konnten mit dem GSDS-26 mehr Risikofälle bei den Männern identifiziert werden.
Schlussfolgerung Mit dem GSDS-26 liegt ein multidimensionales gendersensitives Depressionsscreening vor, das nach weiterer Validierung für den routinemäßigen Einsatz geeignet sein könnte.
