Este texto pretende abordar a ideologia do desenvolvimento e a relação do capital transnacional e os movimentos de resistência (alguns deles anti-imperialistas) que surgiram nos últimos anos, neste continente. Este artigo busca analisar a fragilidade da democracia brasileira que se agudiza com a eleição do capitão do exército, reformado, Jair Bolsonaro, com claras inclinações ao fascismo. Nossa questão central, é tentar desvelar a construção desse fenômeno e, como, de certa maneira o desprezo do campo da esquerda para uma “privatização da vida pública e uma publicização da vida privada”, num processo declarado de avanço do conservadorismo na sociedade brasileira.
Este artigo é fruto da apresentação de uma mesa coordenada, na JOINPP 2019, cuja temática era “Civilização ou Barb árie”. Representa o conjunto das apresentações e, portanto, um resumo das discussões travadas naquele momento, e justifica um artigo com cinco autores. O avanço da direita com novas formas de organização, que culmina com a eleição de Jair Bolsonaro, como é o caso do Brasil e os desafios para os movimentos sociais, partidos políticos, neste panorama.
Este artigo tem como objetivo tratar de um aspecto essencial para a consolidação das ONGs e/ou terceiro setor como políticas de emprego e geração de renda: as Organizações Não-Governamentais de Desenvolvimento (ONGDs) e da chamada responsabilidade social das empresas. Ambas apresentam-se com o objetivo de promover o desenvolvimento local e a auto-sustentação das comunidades onde atuam. Crescem num momento de desmantelamento do Estado social e tanto uma como a outra raramente fazem alusão às causas estruturais da pobreza.
artigos RESUMO: Este texto busca refletir a atual fase do capitalismo e os impactos para a implementação de políticas públicas. Neste contexto, vimos um retrocesso de garantias de políticas com caráter universal que se focaliza. Buscamos refletir as contradições do Estado capitalista na realização dessa promessa e os conflitos entre as classes sociais, levando-se em consideração as formações sociais no interior do capitalismo globalizado.
