<p style="text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-align: justify; line-height: 12pt; margin: 0in 0.5in 0pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 10pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Gulim;">The aim of this paper is to understand recent economic observations, female </span><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; color: black; font-size: 10pt; mso-fareast-font-family: '?????,????';">labor force participation, and fertility in Korea drawing on various aggregate data. More detailed attention is then given to issues concerning the changing composition of fertility and labor force participation. This paper presents a review of available data on the role played by economy, labor force participation, and fertility. Fertility stands as a critical factor in females’ efforts to improve their labor force. We analyze the effect of fertility on female labor force participation in Korea using the data from the government survey. Fertility is negatively related to labor force participation in Korea.</span></p>
