To resolve the color-register problem on web-press machine, a kind of networking register system was presented. Firstly, a special diamond mark was designed, which is easier to be embedded. Secondly, the high-speed cameras with external trigger signal were adopted to capture mark images under the control of synchronous encoder unit, at the same time the real-time deviation of color was obtained by analyzing the mark image. Lastly, the data of color deviation were transmitted to the press system over Ethernet. Thus, a close-loop and real-time system was built. Especially, an Ethernet solution for the press machine with many towers was proposed. According to the actual customer’s reports, waste of newspaper decreases greatly, in addition, print quality and print efficiency are both promoted.
The main purpose of this paper is to analyze the stability and safety problems of braced excavation enclosure, surrounding strata and side slope during construction of Shangshuijing station in Shenzhen Metro Line 5. The paper presents stability discrimination of the braced excavation and side slope by discussing their force and deformation regularity using Flac3D, and puts forward some project proposals about its design and construction. The results show that: (1) The stability coefficient of braced excavation enclosure becomes smaller because of biasing impact of side slope, but this project can meet the stability requirements, (2) The biasing impact of side slope has little influence on deformation of surrounding strata starting on the other side of braced excavation without slope, and (3) To ensure construction safety under condition of side slope, the braced excavation should be excavated starting from the zone far from the side slope, steel pipe can be used as assistant reinforcement at the corner of side slope if necessary.
Trusted Computing technique can be applied to alleviate the concerns for the security of virtual machines (VMs), accompanying the increase in the use of virtualization technology. This paper aims to provide for guest para-virtualized machine (GPVM) applications a complete trusted chain from the physical TPM in a flexible way. We propose a robust and fast method for measuring the integrity of the system booting files of a GPVM. This method integrated with the existing integrity measure software such as Trusted Grub and Integrity Measurement Architecture (IMA) can provide the complete trusted chain. Compared to the existing method of measuring the GPVM integrity, our method is very flexible and fast.
Virtualization technologies have been explored to mitigate the vulnerabilities in the current TCG architecture. But only a small number of efforts address the handling of the detected TCG TOCTOU attacks. This paper aims to defeat TCG TOCTOU attacks occurring in Xen hardware virtual machines. We propose an efficient response approach (ERA) in the environment of the Xen virtual machine monitor and the virtual TPM facility shipped with the Xen. ERA has the following features: (1) Effective in defeating the TCG TOCTOU attacks; (2) Impose less overhead on the system during normal execution; and (3) Transparent to guest virtual machines. We describe the ERA implementation in detail and evaluate its ability via experiments.
