Este trabalho analisa diferentes experiências de gênero no romance A vida invisível de Eurídice Gusmão, de Martha Batalha. Nota-se que a realidade vivida pela protagonista não é a mesma das personagens que ocupam papéis antagônicos ou secundários, existindo vários níveis de invisibilidade de gênero. Nesse sentido, o que pode ser considerado como uma forma de subversão para Eurídice Gusmão é uma ação cotidiana de outras mulheres da narrativa, que sofrem outros tipos de silenciamentos, necessitando também novas formas de resistência.
Este artigo trata da viagem como espaço de construção da sexualidade no romance Todos nós adorávamos caubóis (2013), de Carol Bensimon, discutindo o deslocamento como possibilidade de (auto)conhecimento identitário, os conflitos existentes entre o solo gaúcho e as sexualidades ex-cêntricas, bem como a articulação dos papéis de gênero nas atitudes das personagens. Justifica-se a análise da obra por narrar mulheres lésbicas/bissexuais como protagonistas em locais de predominância cultural machista, fundamentando-se em estudos da literatura brasileira contemporânea e na teoria queer, baseando-se principalmente em teóricas como Regina Dalcastagnè (2012; 2015), Judith Butler (2019) e Guacira Lopes Louro (2014; 2018). Entende-se que a viagem é importante para a compreensão das personagens, ao tornar visíveis aspectos não antes percebidos, tanto em relação às suas sexualidades quanto às outras relações sociais. Conclui-se que os espaços, mesmo quando conflituosos, atuam como necessários para a constituição identitária das personagens, e elas também se tornam definitivas para uma possível mutação nos ambientes. Além disso, percebe-se que, mesmo incorporando padrões de gêneros como norteadores identitários, as personagens queerizam os locais percorridos, ultrapassando as fronteiras e colocando-se continuamente em trânsito.
Este trabalho reflete sobre questões de cunho teórico e metodológico para a escrita de uma história da literatura brasileira contemporânea LGBTQ+, em um recorte de narrativas produzidas no Rio Grande do Sul no século XXI. Para isso, utiliza-se de perspectivas teóricas relacionadas aos estudos de gênero e sexualidade, principalmente os estudos queer, além das pesquisas voltadas à contemporaneidade e à história da literatura. Apesar de os questionamentos serem muitos, o texto discorre principalmente a partir destas duas provocações: É possível pensar em uma literatura gaúcha ou sul-rio-grandense LGBTQ+? O que será considerado para traçar uma seleção de obras para compor um tipo diferente de cânone: o gênero e/ou a sexualidade dos autores ou das autoras, a construção das personagens ou, considerando existentes, a discussão de temáticas?
Resumo: Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar como se constroem as representações do eu e do outro nos enunciados produzidos no romance O Beijo da Mulher Aranha (1976), de Manuel Puig. Para tanto, utiliza como embasamento teórico, sobretudo, a Teoria da Enunciação, de Émile Benveniste, pois leva em consideração o homem e sua subjetividade na sua articulação com a linguagem e a produção do discurso, além de Judith Butler, nas discussões de gênero e sexualidade. Percebe-se que os personagens constituem suas subjetividades a partir de uma constante interação discursiva, na qual questões relativas principalmente ao gênero e à sexualidade são discutidas, fazendo com que representações distintas de si e do outro sejam delineadas. Isso possibilita pensar que o enunciar os forma como sujeitos sociais, sendo assim um processo contínuo por meio do qual suas identidades são expostas e construídas em conjunto.
