Climate change has caused in the decreasing of rice production worldwide which affects food security condition in North Sulawesi. Therefore, efforts need to be done to anticipate this issue. A combination of numerical and spatial models was chosen in this study. Paddy rice numerical simulation model described relationships between crops' physical environmental conditions and physiological condition in the forms of mathematical equations. Model inputs included climatic components, such as: light, temperature, humidity, wind speed and rainfall; soil physical components including: soil capacity, permanent wilt point, soil evaporation parameter; soil chemical variables including: pH and total nitrogen; agronomical input including: crop varieties, seed growth rate, irigation and nitrogen fertilizer; initial conditions including: ground water concentration, mineral nitrogen (NH4 and NO3) from various soil layers. Model output can be determined based on the purpose of the study. This research concluded that (a) rainfall pattern change and temperature's increase affected paddy rice production, (b) 141,677 ton of rice shortage will be occurred in 2030. Strategics to anticipate this condition should be formulated. It is recommended to conduct a further research on compiling climate change data in North Sulawesi. Also, it is crucial to produce best paddy rice varietas resistant of climate change through biotechnology. ABSTRAKPerubahan iklim mengakibatkan terjadi gangguan dalam produksi tanaman padi yang mempengaruhi kondisi ketahanan pangan di Sulawesi Utara sehingga perlu adanya langkah-langkah mengantisipasinya. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan model numerik dan spasial. Model numerik simulasi tanaman padi menjelaskan hubungan antara kondisi fisik lingkungan dengan kondisi fisiologis tanaman dalam bentuk persamaanpersamaan matematis. Input model terdiri dari unsur-unsur cuaca berupa radiasi surya, suhu dan kelembaban udara, kecepatan angin dan curah hujan; sifat fisik tanah (kapasitas lapang, titik layu permanen dan parameter evaporasi tanah); sifat kimia tanah (pH, nitrogen total); input agronomis (varietas, laju penggunaan benih, irigasi, pemupukan nitrogen); serta kondisi awal berupa kadar air tanah dan nitrogen mineral (NH4 dan NO3) dari berbagai lapisan tanah. Sedangkan untuk output dapat disesuai dengan tujuannya. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa (a) perubahan pola curah hujan dan kenaikan suhu udara mempengaruhi produksi tanaman padi, (b) prognosa ketersediaan beras pada tahun 2030 mengalami defisit sebesar 141,677 ton, sehingga diperlukan langkah strategi untuk mengantisipasi.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate organic strawberry agribusiness in the East Bolaang Mongondow Regency by evaluating the dimensions of agribusiness players, the dimensions of agribusiness activity and the dimensions of behavior of organic strawberry agribusiness. The method used in this study was the survey method. The selection of the location of the study was done intentionally by determining the highland area in the East Bolaang Regency that cultivated strawberries. The area was the village of Mooat, Guaan Village, and New Bongkudai Village. This research begins in May to August 2018. The types of data used in this study were primary and secondary data. Data were analyzed using income analysis, added value, and were evaluated with an evaluation structure design adopted from the modified Hammond Evaluation Structure into agribusiness. The results of the study showed that agribusiness players consisting of key players had not made strawberries as commercial commodities while the tourism business of D’Mooat had made strawberries as a commercial commodity. The agricultural input activities were in the form of the use of the workforce of the community around the tourist area and the provision of production facilities, both purchased and made by themselves. The agricultural production activities had not fully utilized organic materials with an average production of 1,080 kg / year and the revenues of Rp.128,505,250/year for the area of 2,000 m2. The agricultural industry activities provided added value around of Rp. 57,000 / kg for strawberries and the average profit of Rp. 52,870 / kg through processing strawberries into strawberry juice, smoothie strawberry juice and dragon berry juice. Agricultural marketing activities were take place only in the tourist attractions area. The agricultural service activities were in the form of credit from Bank (BRI) while coordination with related agencies has not been established. The production technique behavior was good; the agribusiness management behavior was still in traditional way, whereas the agribusiness system behavior have not yet.
This paper analyzed the regional characteristic and the output growth. Using panel data analysis on 33 provinces in Indonesia, the result shows that the labor growth and net export positively affect the output growth. This study aims to describe the cultivation of seasoning plants "rampa-rampa mix" andmarketing channels that occur in the Village Sea and the city of Manado. This research was conducted in September 2016 until October 2016. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The primary data collection was conducted by direct interview technique with 40 (forty) respondents in this case seasoning plants "rampa-rampa campur" and also using written data in the form of documents obtained from the village head. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive analysis and presented in the form of story or table. The results of thisstudy indicate that the average profit of cooking season is Rp.461.104 in 1 (one) time to make asale.
This study aims to know the Market Orientation (market intelligence, market intelligence dissemination, responsiveness of market intelligence). This research was conducted for three months from May until July 2017. The data used are primary data which is quantified by using Likert scale. The data taken by using survey method and use questioner to be distributed to 6 respondents in company. Questionnaires are used to identify market intelligence, market intelligence spread, responsiveness to market intelligence. Based on the results of research conducted at PT Gunung Hijau Masarang, the company's market orientation value was 67.29 percent. The company's market intelligence carried out customer service activities to know the consumer's response to the product. In the Market Intelligence Spread, Company companies understoodmarket integrations such as informally discussing competitor strategies, formal and informal discussions of needs. Whereas in the responsiveness of market intelligence the Company understood market orientation towards the response to market integrity. The company received complaints such as if there is a defectiveproduct, a change of packaging This is an opportunity for the company to correct the performance of the company as well as the service system like this makes it easier to encourage companies to more sharply looked at consumer needs.*jnkd*.
