This study aimed to draw the lipid profile and identify the presence of antibiotics in the goat milk produced in Senhor do Bonfim`s city -BA. It had been used thirty milk samples to detect the presence of antibiotics as well as to quantify and qualify the concentration of fatty acids (FAs). In the total of evaluated samples, 46.6% were positive with the amount of antibiotic above the Maximum Limit Recommended (MLR). In relation of FAs identified 18 types being 50% of saturated type. The high quantity of antibiotics above the MLR is worrying and suggests information campaigns about the overuse of antibiotics in milk cattle. Studies about inclusion of oils in the animals diet aiming an increase of polyunsaturated FA with benefits for the consumer are as well suggested. KEY-WORDS: Fatty Acids, antibiotic, public health, waste.
