Este artículo trata de un aspecto la recepción de une exposición: es el de la ausencia de respeto para el público, que puede suscitar reacciones de asco, de miedo, de hostilidad, por mótivos de creencia, valores, sensibilidad estética, o emotividad de las personas. La análisis de estas límites, en el caso de una exposición sobre la muerte, permitió ver la frontera variable de la comprensión intercultural y sensible de la realidad. En la situación de interacción entre la propuesta museal, la características de los visitantes y sus comportamientos sociales durante la visite, estas límites pueden ser tratadas de manera constructiva, para hacerles mover gracias a une reflexión sobre la identitad, favorecada por la conjunción entre las barandillas museológicas, los mecanismos de defensa individual, y los intercambios dentro de los grupos. La observación de la tensión entre transgresión y reacción en las exposiciónes de arte contemporaneo ha favorecido une interogación sobre la evolución de los museos de sociedad como espacios de implicación y de reflexividad para un visitante cada vez mas situado en el centro del dispositivo museográfico.
