Et si le héros de L’Étranger avait eu un smartphone ? Et si Meursault avait ouvert un compte sur le réseau social Instagram ? Et s’il y avait raconté sa vie en images ? Tel est le point de départ du défi que se sont lancé les premières L du lycée de l’Iroise à Brest dans le cadre de leur projet « i-voix ». Le projet accompagne l’étude du roman d’A. Camus et articule deux objets d’étude au programme du français en première : « le personnage de roman » et « les réécritures ». Il illustre un enjeu majeur qui se dessine désormais pour l’enseignement du français : réconcilier la culture du livre et la culture des écrans. Dans ce contexte mouvant, l’écriture numérique peut-elle favoriser la lecture littéraire ?
Poésie et web peuvent-ils faire bon ménage quand on enseigne en lycée ? Comment se manifeste et se construit le sujet-lecteur lors de la tenue d’un blogue de classe ? Quelles sont les incidences de l’organisation énonciative spécifique du blogue pour l’enseignement de la littérature ? Quels gestes de lecture-écriture multimodale sont développés ? À quelle phénoménologie de la lecture donnent-ils manifestement lieu ? En analysant le blogue i-voix, en tenant compte du témoignage des élèves et du professeur, on constate que les gestes de lecture en jeu, s’ils ne sont pas tous redevables au numérique, sont démultipliés, intensifiés et surtout finalisés lors de la tenue du blogue. Finalement, c’est peut-être parce qu’il n’est pas encore un genre scolaire que le blogue de classe fait éclore des expériences littéraires mobilisatrices, créatives et fédératrices pour la communauté constituée des lecteurs.
