This study examined the effect of population growth, school enrollment rate, and labor force participation rate on economic growth in five provinces in Indonesia, namely South Sulawesi, DI Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, North Maluku, and South Sumatra. This study used cross-section data of five provinces in Indonesia and time-series data during 2005-2020. The analysis method used was panel data with the help of E-Views10. The results partially showed that population growth positively and significantly influenced economic growth in five provinces in Indonesia, school participation rates did not negatively affect economic growth in five provinces in Indonesia, and labor force participation rates negatively affected economic growth in five provinces in Indonesia. Simultaneously, population growth, school enrollment rate, and labor force participation rate positively and significantly influenced economic growth in five provinces in Indonesia.
Dusun Gano Desa Lamdingin Kotamadya Banda Aceh terkenal dengan luasnya peternakan itik, tetapi tingginya potensi ketersediaan telur itik disana belum mampu dimanfaatkan secara maksimal untuk memenuhi permintaan anak itik di Area Banda dan Aceh Aceh Besar, hal ini dikarenakan penetasan anak itik masih menggunakan Metode penetasan konvensional (menggunakan induk ayam atau induk itik). Padahal Perubahan telur ke anak itik berdampak besar pada keuntungan usaha, dikarenakan harga jual anak itik lebih tinggi dari telurnya. Karenanya tim pengabdian berinisiatif memperkenalkan Penggunaan Mesin Penetas Telur Itik dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan Masyarakat. Kegiatan ini telah memberi dampak terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, dan memotivasi masyarakat di Dusun Gano Desa Lamdingin untuk meraih peluang peningkatan pendapatan. Selain itu, Kegiatan ini berdampak langsung menambah pendapatan mitra karna diaplikasikan langsung oleh beberapa peternak disana. Dengan adanya praktek langsung, mitra dapat memahami secara maksimal kemudahan pemakaian mesin penetas, dari proses perakitan mesin, pemakaian, penyortiran hingga pemasaran tim terus mendampingi. Dan diharapkan dusun Gano menjadi sentra pemasaran anak itik seProvinsi Aceh
This study examined the effect of inequality on income, investment, and unemployment in North Sumatra Province. This study used secondary data from 2005 to 2020. The data analysis method used was a Multiple Linear Regression with the help of the Eviews 10 program. The results partially indicated that income inequality positively and insignificantly influenced gross regional domestic products in North Sumatra Province, Investment positively and significantly influenced gross regional domestic products in North Sumatra Province. Unemployment negatively and insignificantly influenced gross regional domestic products in North Sumatra Province. Simultaneously, income inequality, investment, and unemployment positively and significantly influenced gross regional domestic products in North Sumatra Province. The magnitude of the effect of Inequality of Investment and Unemployment on Gross Regional Domestic Products in North Sumatra Province was 72.19%, while that of other variables in this model was 27.81%. The government should overcome unemployment to reduce income inequality, mobilize economic sectors and expand investment to increase Gross Regional Domestic Products in North Sumatra Province.
This study aims to estimate the value of the community's WTP in paying drinking water tariffs for PDAM Tirta Montala in the Sub District of Ingin Jaya District Aceh Besar, and analyzing the effect of income, number of family members and the volume of water needs on the community's ability to pay for PDAM Tirta Montala's drinking water tariffs in Sub District of Ingin Jaya District Aceh Besar. Estimation results show that the average capacity of the community to pay for Tirta Montala Drinking Water in the District of Mau Jaya Aceh Besar is between Rp. 70,000 -79,999 per month. Per capita income, the number of family members and the volume of water needs, both simultaneously and partially, have a significant effect on the ability of the community to pay for the drinking water tariff of PDAM Tirta Montala in the district of Jaya Jaya Besar. Variations in the ability of the community to pay for drinking water tariffs at Tirta Montala PDAM in the Sub District of Ingin Jaya District Aceh Besar are influenced by variations in per capita income, the number of family members and the volume of water needs by 94.9 percent and the remaining 5.15 percent are influenced by other variables outside the research model this. The Montala Regional Water Company (PDAM) should no longer carry out a policy of increasing PDAM water tariffs for the next few years. The need for additional Water Treatment Plants (WTP) if the PDAM will increase the number of customers until 2030. Need further research for the planning of gradually increasing Water Treatment Plants (WTP) and network planning for PDAM service development.
This study aimed to determine the effects of government spending, foreign direct investment, and tax on the economic growth of Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand from 1999 to 2018. In this study, the regression analysis used was panel data regression with the model chosen was Common Effect / Pooled Least Square. The results partially show that government spending, foreign direct investment, and tax positively influenced the economic growth in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand in 1999- 2018. Simultaneously, government spending, foreign direct investment, and tax positively and significantly influenced the economic growth in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand in 1999-2018.
