The work of coding and analyzing the content of the curriculum and the assessment tests was carried out by a panel of eight experts from each area. Among the conclusions, it is worth mentioning a very weak alignment in the case of Language and Literature, where relevant content is repeatedly excluded and the level of cognitive demand of the test is lower than proposed in the curriculum; and a more appropriate alignment in the case of Mathematics, although the test does not timely cover curriculum content and does not adequately represent the geometry and measurement curriculum. The two editions of the analyzed test, 2017 and 2018, reveal that from one year to the next there is no significant variation in the contents selected for the evaluation.
