This research focuses on the importance of corporate social responsibility in building the company's reputation. Experts have studied CSR as an antecedent of a company's reputation, but the mechanisms underlying this process are rarely explored. Therefore, to fill this research gap, we demonstrate CSR's implementation combined with organizational justice based on discrepancy and equity theory. This study involved 210 employees in a family company. The study's analysis method uses Structural Equation Model (SEM), SmartPLS, with a five-step measurement and analysis procedure. The variables in this study are CSR implementation, organizational justice, employee trust, firm reputation, organizational objectiveness, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance. The results found that some of the direct relationships stated were not significant, but all demonstrations of indirect links were substantial. Besides, optimal CSR and organizational justice provide a reliable and positive domino effect in increasing the role and consequences of employee trust and firm reputation. The findings in this study confirm that upstream-downstream job performance causality can be successfully achieved if job satisfaction has been realized, job satisfaction can be achieved if organizational commitment can also be recognized, and organizational commitment can be developed. Reflection and influence, rather than organizational attractiveness becomes essential.
This study seeks to analyze the effect of Non-Performing Loans and Capital Adequacy Ratio on Return on Assets on ten conventional banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI-IDX). This study uses secondary panel data for 2015-2019 in the form of CAR and NPL values from ten conventional banks listed on the BEI-IDX during the 2020 observation period. The research approach is quantitative descriptive with data analysis methods, namely, linear regression. The testing phase of this study includes: transform value, F-test, T-test and hypothesis test with significancy level sig < 0.05. The results of this study reveal that Non-Performing Loans had a significant negative effect (t =-2,637) (0.011 <0.0) on Return on Assets, while Capital Adequacy Ratio has no significant effect on ROA (0.760 > 0.05). R2 value is 0.128 or 12.8%. It has a significant effect on variables, calling efforts by banks, governments, and authorities monetary of related institutions to maintain the stability of finance. The reduction of Non-Performing Loan impacts on assets and capital adequacy ratio, besides, the normal NPL will control the stability of finance. If a balance is created either in the form of values or amounts of the variables, the reduction in Non-Performing Loans will be controlled.
The purposes of this study are: to analyze the current ratio (CR), return on assets (ROA), and debt to equity ratio (DER) both partially and simultaneously affect the stock price of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the property sector and real estate. This study uses 31 companies to sample the 55 property and real estate sector from 2017-2021. The sampling technique was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The test used in this study was multiple regression analysis with t-test and f-test. The results show that the current ratio (CR) has a negative and insignificant effect on stock prices in property and real estate sector. In contrast, the debt-to-equity ratio (DER) has a positive but insignificant effect on stock prices in property and real estate sectors. At the same time, Return on Assets (ROA) positively affects stock prices in property and real estate companies. The management of the company is expected to observe the behavior of investors in the capital market, namely by understanding the motives of investors so that the administration can develop a company strategy to attract investors to understand their capital in the company.
Abstract. This study aims to determine whether good corporate governance is able to strengthen/weaken the influence of information asymmetry on earnings management. Data collection uses secondary data obtained from financial statements using saturated sampling techniques. The population is all companies listed on the LQ 45 Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) of 45 companies, and all companies are used as samples. The results of this study have tested classic assumptions and data analysis methods using multiple linear regression techniques and moderating regression analysis (MRA).The results show that information asymmetry has no significant positive effect on earnings management, which means that earnings management is no longer determined by information asymmetry but is determined by other factors. While the variable of good corporate governance showed significant negative results. This means that good corporate governance can weaken or reduce the effect of information asymmetry on earnings management. So with the decline in information asymmetry in the company, earnings management actions also decline. Keywords: Information Asymmetry, Profit Management, Good Corporate Governance.
